Born and raised in TN, live in NY now! back in TN, I saw nothing but black youth in the neighborhood brake dancing young black youth, on card board, not one Puerto, out there! because there was none!! We created every Thang! FBA ONLY! SO STAND BACK!!!!
I'm a FBA from Queens New York I've been around Puerto Ricans and Dominicans and from my own experience I've never hung out with Dominican males only the Dominicans females who were born in New York the Puerto Ricans hung out with us more than the Dominicans. I've been to 3 Dominican parties and got no love at the parties. Now the Puerto Ricans parties I had no problems none what so ever
@@RhythmVibePodcastan I lived in both I lived in jersey to Florida to see that the Latinos we have up there are forced to talk to us but come to Florida an you will see they true colors in Florida the puerto Ricans an Dominicans are fresh from the boat an they hate blk people now some might not but that’s minor exceptions to the rule they have a culture of anti blk hatred the only hide it up north Cali dudes understand what I’m saying if you don’t leave New York an the east coast u ain’t gonna see Latinos true colors they hide it on the east coast because the get pushed in the hood with us in other states like Florida they can be white in Florida white Latinos are able to say there white
But on the east coast Puerto Ricans can actually look black a lot of Mexicans don’t and as a whole they mixed into the black culture in a lot of ways here.
Tariq isn’t the leader of fba. Tariq’s does have the gift of gab talent that allows him to shine and that skill and talent to rock the mic. That talent to lace masses with game allows him to shine and brings him attention.
He doesn't, Dominicans are not Black. If you grew up around them, conversated with them and understood their culture more you would understand. We are culturally closer to Puerto Ricans than Dominicans. Puerto Ricans are culturally blacker than Dominicans
We have to stop pushing blackness on to everyone smh Dominicans tell you they're not black and our people try to argue them up and down and force it on to them. This is crazy work
Jalal Mansur Nuriddin he put the first story to rhyme, Fatback Band, Sugar Hill was some others not sure who you’re talking about but Herc got the credit because of the beats. You had the Universal Zulu band before that was mostly Doo wop. You may know others. A doo wop group coined the phrase “hip hop” in a song. All I can say is see how Fat Joe’s music does without black people can’t believe he didn’t give them credit. WOW
FBA delineation is cutting into his money 💰 he can’t cosplay anymore and act like he one ☝🏾 of us and co op Hip Hop and claim it as their own like all the other categories of music FBA created.
41:25 I don’t see how you didn’t bring up Busta Rhymes here as the #1 violator. Adam 22 and those other guys nobody ever heard of won’t have the impact of reeling in a Busta Rhymes 🎣 His disrespect was the most egregious. Busta doubled down been all on drink champs with this open defiance of fba creation

You will not see people in decent numbers go against their own for others. Learn from our elders' mistakes....never been any reciprocity.

@RhythmVibePodcast FBA don't revolve around NY, New Yorkers got these other groups thinking it's okay to use the N word.
Fat Joe and the Tether Squad.
Fat Joe is a guest

Thats because the PRs' you speak of on the East Coast are first and second generation mulattos. It takes time to white out blackness.

Word supreme in New York back in the 80's in Queens I've seen it the Dominicans and the Puerto Ricans used to go at it
21:28 They get offended!!! 😡 THE NERVE OF THESE PEOPLE 🤬🤬🤬🤬

9:31 I agree Red but people like you with a HUGE platform need to keep your collective feet on their necks and not let up.

1:10:50 They don't want to do that though because being Hispanic is LAME in their eyes and who am I to disagree. 💯🎯
