@@ash_1419 I played both, and while SOMA's enemies shine in being ugly and scary looking, it's the learning AI of the xenomorph that personally scares me the most. SOMA' enemies follow patterns, but the alien learns from your playstyle and adapts :,)
Bit late but the alien can show up and kill you after Axel dies. After you call the transit car if you take too long to get in and activate it you will get a very unwelcome passenger in there with you. Most people never learn this because they're usually so terrified by Axel's death that they don't waste a moment activating the transit car.
She can actually come before it even arrives if you make noise. She's not active right after the cutscene, but once you hit that button, you better not make any damn noise from there.

I agree and I’d like them to reunite Amanda ripley with Ellen it’s always been my personal belief that Burke falsified information in aliens purely to fit his agenda so Amanda could still be out in space with Zulu Hendricks (marine she is friends with and features in audiobook adaptation of this game) I don’t see her just returning to earth like nothing she experienced held weight

Hi Julia. Good to see people playing this awesome game on the harder difficulties. I've just finished a No Deaths/ No Human Kills run on NIGHTMARE and it was frickin' intense! Good tip for both Hard & Nightmare: try to avoid hiding in lockers whenever possible - the Xeno's AI is programmed to register repetitive behaviour from nervous players and will start investigating lockers EVERY TIME. Have fun with the game.

So for those who dont know, this game takes place 15 years after the original Alien film.

Now you should play the game with the Steam graphics mod and a mod that makes the alien act like a creature. That mod came out in 2019.
