I had a radio made by BUSH with wooden casings. What a fantastic sound that came out of it. While serving in Germany in the 60s I had this Radio 208, Luxembourg almost on 24/7 and the reception was a lot better than in the UK - brilliant . . I do miss it now. . .
early 1972 stationed on naval air base in sigonella sicily was first time at the radio center where i worked as radioman found this station and loved it for almost two years was stationed there

In the 70s, I used to abscond with my brother's solid state 10-channel radio into my bedroom on spring and summer nights and listen to shortwave with my little earbuds plugged in. I'm sure Radio Luxembourg was one of many channels I heard. So sad that the old stations are no longer around or available to us in the States. That was a busy time for shortwave and great for us DXers.

I loved listening to radio Luxembourg when I was a child late 60's early 70's fabulous music they played.
I used to listen to Luxembourg at nights especially before going to sleep. I used to enjoy the nights listening to it.
