Thanks for posting this - I'm DYING to get onboard an EDGE class ship - they look fantastic!
We (my wife and I) are avid cruisers and did our 15th cruise on Apex. That was back in august, from Athens. This ship and the Edge are among our favorites, and the feel of this ship is nothing like most other ships. We did prefer a cabin without the up and down window that is supposed to pass as a veranda - and loved the Sunset cabin with a real balcony. The restaurants and most of the staff are excellent, and have convinced me that speciality dining on these ships ... is not worth it. We're already booked on Apex for this summer, from Amsterdam ... and are fascinated by the improved aft bar that will be on Beyond and Ascent.

Folks that infinite veranda is the coolest thing. The Apex will definitely be on my list of ships to try.

You didn’t mention the fee to use the thermal suite. Your room didn’t appear to be Aqua Class as you didn’t have the rainfall shower. Did they provide access for free because you’re vloggers?
We are doing the 14 day transatlantic in Oct/ Nov . You seem to have no people on board. Ours is sold out, practically. Not sure what numbers that

We haven't been on the Prima, but they should both be excellent. Celebrity is a little older crowd and NCL a little younger.
How handicapped accessible are these cruise ships?
Hey guys! Look like you picked the perfect time to cruise on this ship. No crowds! Where are all the people? This would be my dream cruise, a beautiful ship and absolutely no crowds.
Loved this video....my husband and I have traveled on the Edge....in April we will be on the Apex for the first time, Aqua with Blu and thermal suite all great.......... Celebrity has its act together....... Thanks for your fine and fun videos......
Where is the people？Maybe there is less passenger during the pandemic？
The infinite balcony is not for me. It's basically just a window that opens - it's not a balcony. I'm sure that it makes the room feel bigger, but I'd rather have a real balcony that's out of doors. You, however, are incredible! Thoroughly enjoyed this video.
We liked it, but we don't spend much time on the normal balcony, so it just made the room bigger in a way.
We had that type on the Edge and loved it, makes the room so much bigger.

Were you on an inaugural cruise or invited press cruise? Is that why it is so uncrowded?

All I can say is this is an altered Celebrity ship. The Millennium and Solstice classes are more of what Celebrity did as a cruise line. They're moving more to class cruising. I hope Celebrity gets the food consistent fleet wide because that's a Celebrity staple. Going to classes and trying to be younger/hipper is not really being done in a transitional way but a bang, it's different now, way.
Some aspects of this ship are from NCL (like their Haven) or RCI (Eden is similar in concept to Two70 on Oasis class ships). I just wish Celebrity hadn't done away with so many spaces from their Solstice class ships. And the class system so prominent on this ship needs to be discussed in terms of pros and cons.

Real plants in eden? That's cool
We have cruised many times with Celebrity but we have three cruises this year with the Apex, the Beyond and just got off the Edge. Sorry to say we didn’t like the Edge. We found the balcony room just felt like a window in the room. We missed the balcony experience. And we didn’t like the new martini bar. The whole ship was very noisy and open. Also we found the food very hit and miss. The Eden restaurant was awesome but the rest were mediocre. Just my opinion. We have 35 cruises under our belt so we aren’t newbie’s. Yes it’s a beautiful ship for sure, but we prefer the Solstice class ships.
Beautiful ship doesn't describe anything IMO. I don't like the Edge ships either because they are noisy and lack intimacy and real class IMO. If you want to do more than dine and enjoy but aren't primarily interested in the shows, the public spaces are not optimal for everyone. People like to mingle and dance in spaces but they don't all like the same music or dance in the same spaces. On just about any other ship you can find different spaces for different moods in mingling, listening to live music, and dancing. On this Edge ship, it's all about the bottom of the hotel Martini Bar with no windows, Eden, another large open spaced area with occasional shows or the Club, a nightclub that's kind of dark. Nowhere is there a Rendezvous lounge, Sky Lounge, Ensemble Lounge, for different types of atmospheres and music to enjoy. And that leads to these areas feeling crowded and noisy. Noise, which in the Grand Plaza, filters up to restaurants and other spaces above it.
As for the physical ship, it's alright. However, the vibrant colors and sense of recreating classic spaces into a retro-modern atmosphere is completely gone in this ship. Compare the Martini, swanky lounge feel in Solstice vs. what's in Edge. Compare the staircase of the Millennium class with the Grand Plaza. The only place I see real Celebrity style is in some of the staircases and in the Cosmopolitan, Normandie and Cyprus restaurants. Otherwise it's this trendy modern gray/beige/soft teals and blues that will only date this ship as an early to mid 2020s ship but lacking the timeless rich areas of what Celebrity has established in its previous classes.
The class systems is a real concern. The Retreat area has 3 decks in the front aft that takes away any space for a Sky Lounge or open deck fore spaces for regular passengers.
Very overrated but for some people, obviously it's a great class of ships. I just wonder when the newness wears off it they will the shortcomings become more apparent. But it's also not a Celebrity ship in terms of feel overall. It's like some of Celebrity mixed with RCI and NCL and it doesn't dance with the ones that brought you. I hope the next class of ship is way different than the Edge clss.

I just returned home April 15th (2023) from a 7 day cruise on Celebrity Apex which is an elegant, peaceful & beautiful high end ship! Three ports were visited: San Juan, PR; Tortola, BVI & St Kitts, West Indies ---> LOVED ALL OF THEM!!!
After docking at 3:30 PM, we walked around Old San Juan near the port. We took no excursions on San Juan as we arrived late. I have been to SJ before and had already visited El Cristobal Fort & El Morro then both are highly recommended as excursions. In Tortola, we took the Town & Country Tour including one hour at Cane Garden Bay Beach, then we returned going around Tortola from another direction (3.5 hrs). We saw amazing views of Roadtown & our ship, plus many jaw dropping views of various islands & landscapes. Our driver & tour guide was Kumba and he was fantastic. St Kitts was our third island, where Century Apex & three other ships docked, Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas, a Carnival ship & Marella Explorer 2. Needless to say, the area outside the gate was crowded with people milling about trying to find their line for the booked excursions. Royal Carribean passengers were most numerous as their ship was huge. We took the "Scenic island cruise and beach tour" (3.5 hrs). A boat took us away from the pier and we viewed several islands at a leisurely pace while heading toward the most beautiful view in the distance, the island of Nevis. We had one hour to enjoy Lime Beach (part of Pinney's beach) near the Marriott Hotel. Then qe returned by boat to the marina.
The ship Celebrity Apex was *ASTONISHING*. The Theater entertainment was *PHENOMENAL* with singing, dancing, & acrobatics included in highly creative programs!!! Also, individual singers on specific nights were extraordinairily talented!!! Everything was memorable about the Celebrity Apex! Not enough space here nor enough time to describe what was so great & why it was so memorable & enjoyable!
Are there no game rooms or shopping areas ?
Lots of high-end shops. No game rooms.

Thank you for the lovely video. We are about to go on a cruise on the Apex end of sept. The only thing I really really dont like about it and your cabin has that too is that window idea instead of a balcony. To me that does not feel outdoors and I would personally hate it.
