    The Pacifica beach farm... get all your quick hacks for free by farming the 3 on the shack nearest the large group. 2 netrunners on that shack drop quickhacks. If they roll overheat, it will give you the next rarity up of what you have. If you have purple spec/ hack it will give you the legendary spec. Once you have the spec. The next time overheat drops it will be the actual hack.
    I farmed for 1 hour at lvl 25 and got all my purple and yellow hacks for free. Just bring a bike, kill them and drive to the peer and back, 2 runs per minute at 2 chances each for hacks drop.

    Nice vid, but as I understand it, the combat quickhack gets the 40% boost when a non-combat quickhack is placed AFTER it, not before. So something like Sonic Shock -> Overheat ->Cyberware Malfunction.

      no while adding a combat quick hack on a enemy who is affected by a control/covert quickhack gives bonus damage due to embedded exploit perk ( idk if they added it post 2.12 but its there now). and yeah in the context of this video he was mentioning it wrong , 40 % dmg is combat followed by control not the opposite.

    So I started a new netrunner for PL, decided make sure I was on the right path around hour 26, and I gotta say, you're onto something with those crits 🤣. However, it might be worth mentioning that this build does work quite well as a stealth build, you said that people complain about being traced. Easy work arounds like using that crazy air dash+double jump to get away from the trace (it's proximity based) unless you're indoors, in which case you just use the ping to find and mark enemies, mapping out how to eliminate them quick n quiet. For stealth situations I supplement with a throwing knife just to keep moving forward at a good pace, it also bridges the gap for ram rec while remaining unseen. Good tip on the smart pistol/smg combo sharing ammo btw, forgot about that... I'll basically be using a throwing knife, smart pistol and a tech precision rifle with your perk path. Maybe a few minor adjustments to adjust for the weapons. Overall, top notch guide, learned a few things too. Tyvm

    Thanks for the vid, I got some ideas from it. My 2cent is that if you read line by line all the properties of Cripple Movement, you'll probably immediately see how this is the best, one and only quick hack to slot into Monowire. I get that you don't use it so often, but for the play styles that do use it often, it's probably the only pick that makes the perfect sense.

    On my build sonic shock is most important. Why? If cast first before a damage hack it stops the NPC from being able to trace your location. It must be Tier 3 to work. No netrunner build should be without it.

  • @MegaXanderlex
    @MegaXanderlex 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    The Tetratronic Rippler gives its 40% damage only when a non-combat quickhack is queued after the quickhack getting boosted. So "Reboot Optics -> Overheat" or "Cyberware Malfunction x3 -> Synapse Burnout" would not get the increase. At least if the Rippler works as its card describes. Still super strong to upload in that order though as you'd still be getting the 60% damage from Embedded Exploit in the skill tree.

    • @FightinCowboy
      @FightinCowboy  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You need non combat before. Cyberware and reboot options are non combat.

    • @MegaXanderlex
      @MegaXanderlex 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@FightinCowboy The card says "+40% damage with Combat quickhacks when immediately *followed by* a non-Combat quickhack in the queue." which means Combat -> non-Combat. But to be certain I performed a test. I removed all cyberware and perk points save for the rippler and the perks needed to queue a second quickhack. I used the purple rippler and green reboot optics and short circuit. I tested on the same enemy and just reloaded. Tested each twice and short circuit on its own did 98 and 113. Putting reboot optics first in the queue did 113 and 103. Putting reboot optics second in the queue did 148 and 136.

    • @paulodiaz5774
      @paulodiaz5774 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

       @FightinCowboy MegaXanderlex is correct here. The damage you are getting in casting the non-combat quickhack before the combat quickhack is indeed the +60% damage increase in the "Embedded Exploit" lvl 2 perk in the Intelligence skill tree, not from the Tetratronic Rippler MK.5 effect. By combining this to the effect of the OS, you will get much higher damage.

    • @vaddadisreevamsi947
      @vaddadisreevamsi947 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      ur right , but the reason hes getting that bonus is due to embedded exploit perk , ( u get bonus damage if u use combat quick hack on a control/covert hacked enemy) and with that he coupled the cox-2 cybersomatic optimizer , that's why he's getting that damage.
      U can get max damage by doing a control/covert quick hack > combat > control / covert quickhack.

      @tomcascaddan8319 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I just finished a Netrunner build, level 60 and completed everything, gigs, NCPD, etc...
      Honestly, the Canto is completely usable for the build, but the Rippler still has the most RAM of any deck at 5++, has a faster upload speed, and +40% damage when you queue a Combat QH followed by a Control QH.
      What he missed though is that Tier 5 or Iconic Synapse Burnout refreshes your Overclock time with every kill. So in a fight you Overclock, start using Synapse Burnout on every target, letting you Overclock infinitely.
      Unlike his build, I go 20 Int, Tech & Bod, 15 Ref, and then leftover points into Cool.
      I've done xp grind loops in Watson and Pacifica that went 30 minutes of Overclock.

    I'm almost at a tipping point. I spent the most amount of time doing a net runner build. Had a legendary rippler with a bunch of legendary hacks.
    I put it down and the rework happened. Reset everything and somehow my orange rippler turned into a blue so now my build is completely trashed bc I didn't build for weapons at all. Didn't need them. Now I have to completely do things different AND gain levels to get the same effect I already had at a lower level.
    I might just put that save off on a shelf and come back after I've played a full body reflex and cool build

    You're wrong about Data Recycler, IMO. My Netrunner is using a similar setup of cyberware including the Tetratronic Rippler and Cybersomatic Optimizer. All other cyber is geared around increasing RAM, quickhack damage, RAM recovery, and armor, in that order of priority.
    My standard combat is engage from a distance and remain undetected as long as possible.
    Each target gets 4 quickhacks stacked in the queue. At level 40, that's Sonic Shock, Synapse Burnout, Cyberware Malfunction, and a second Synapse Burnout.
    By level 47, the last QH is replaced with System Reset.
    Sonic Shock keeps the enemy from tracing you.
    Synapse Burnout hits them like a truck because the Rippler adds 40% damage from the Cyberware Malfunction coming after it, and the final Synapse Burnout or System Reset synergizes with the Data Recycler perk to return most if not all of the RAM you used back to you, even though you never pay full cost on the final QH due to the perks and skills also synergizing.
    The only time I need Overclock is a straight fight with multiple enemies.
    If stealth isn't a concern because you're already in combat, switch to Synapse Burnout followed by Cyberware Malfunction followed by a repeat of those two quickhacks.

    • @DJSLANKMAN
      @DJSLANKMAN 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I never understood data recycling. Wouldn’t it not matter since the target usually dies from just one synapse. I’m one shooting most mobs at level 25 with synapse and it would be a waste to que another for it to be returned at 80 percent. Thanks for the tips though in your post

    • @tomcascaddan8319
      @tomcascaddan8319 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DJSLANKMAN you hit the target with just Synapse and yes, it dies. But you lose RAM in the process. Load a high RAM quickhack after Synapse, it still dies, but you instantly get RAM back.
      So my method isolates the target so you can't be traced, kills it, and gives you full RAM immediately after the target dies.

    • @DJSLANKMAN
      @DJSLANKMAN 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tomcascaddan8319 so you get all the ram back for all the quick hacks? I thought it was just for the last one that didn’t go through? If so then yeah that’s hella good

    • @tomcascaddan8319
      @tomcascaddan8319 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@DJSLANKMAN to clarify, you get all of your available RAM back. With the right perks and set up, you aren't spending the full RAM cost for any Quickhack after the first one in the queue but you get 80% of the full cost back. It's a numbers game based on using the Intelligence perks to their fullest.
      So Sonic Shock is 6 RAM, then Synapse is 16. But because you open with Sonic the Synapse is reduced by 2, so 14. Cyberware Malfunction is 4,but it is also reduced by 2 for another 2 spent. Your fourth and final QH is reduced by HALF, so 8 for Synapse or 14 for System Collapse.
      But the return RAM is calculated at 80% of the full cost of the Malfunction and Synapse/Collapse. So you get 16 to 25 RAM back depending on your final quickhack in the queue. You spend 36 at most to get 25 back, but then you should also be getting bonus RAM back from cyberware for neutralizing an enemy.
      My current Netrunner that I'm playing will get the 32 to 36 back from a single kill. And the normal RAM regeneration makes up for any minor loss in seconds.
      I rarely run out of RAM.

      also I should mention memory wipe is also great to get out of all combat instantly and acts like a blind in general so you can sneak up to an enemy with it running and take them down the arasaka cyberdeck slows trace pretty good in addition memory wipe also makes subsequent quickhacks non traceable stealth with netrunning is very disgusting and very underrated. System collapse is another great one ill takedown an enemy or 2 hit em with a silenced pistol in the face or panam's sniper rifle then keep on using system collapse and takedowns move from one enemy to the next. System collapse also reduces trace but also costs much much less on RAM when you take out enemies when a trace is running can reduce it down to a whopping -24 ram cost on system collapse. takedowns with arasaka deck also give out +5 ram if you spec into it you can reduce trace progress by -100% with takedowns. Aint nobody gonna know you there you cyber ninja you.

    Netrunning was arguably even more busted before 2.0. Ye olde Legendary Ping alowed you to hack enemies through walls and the Netwatch Netdriver Mk5 spread all quickhacks to nearby enemies, literally blew up like 3-5 people with just one quickhack instantly... add to that the Legendary Short Circuit got applied to your shots with guns, not every shot I think.. but enough.
    Sandevistans and blades are also fun, or shotguns. Literally smoke an entire encounter before the first body hits the floor... dodging bullets along the way if necessary.
    Netrunning is very much a troll build... great for clearing traffic jams too 🤣
    //The Sonic Shock hack can later on let you hack people undetected. Go with that hack first and people will just ignore you blowing their friends up in front of em. Quite handy if you wanna remain in "stealth" for whatever reason.

      How is it bugged? Synapse burnout hits for roughly 2000 on it's own. It also gets 10% for each RAM unit that's spent. 3x Cyberwear malfunction + synapse = 29 ram spent so 290% damage increase. This brings us to 5800. Add in the 40% multiplier from tetratonic and it's up to 8,120. Even without considering all the other synergies and buffs going on a crit from Synapse would likely be in the 12-15K range at minimum.

      @@paveldubovyk make sure u have the cox-2 cybersomatic optimizer to maximize damage , also ur quick hacks order should be control/covert quick hacks > combat > control/ covert quick hacks to gives bonus damage of 40% due to ripple and also due to embedded exploit perk.

      Very hard difficulty, some of the enemy straight up resistant to over heat or synapse burn. We do less damage too.

    It's a waste of time playing netrunner on anything less than very hard difficulty. That even before you get iconic quickhacks at which point enemies become how many ways can you watch them die. Sure maybe in early game it's a challenge, but with this build or something similar it's like a cheat code. And as with all cheats and unintended glitches expect CDPR to quietly nerf it to hell at some point, Lol.

    This is a good lower level build. When you get into higher levels and are playing on very hard difficulty though you have to go with ex disk for the bigger ram boost among other things because just everyday enemies can take two quickhacks to stop even at iconic levels. To me ram, ram recovery rate, quickhack upload speeds, and quickhack damage bonuses are how you get it done.

    Yeah I am trying to get away from sandevistan, but also trying not to be 100% Hackerman either.

    F*ck me this is some OP s*it! Great fun for those who want to look at people and they just die. Me personally I'd probably get bored after awhile so I'd go with something else. There's some good build variety with the new update.

      That's partly why it has the smart weapons, tech rifle, and monowire. They're not needed, but it allows me to keep the gameplay fresh.

    The crazy thing is this build is suboptimal compared to what quickhacking can do. Infinite overclock, contagion bombs, you can just go nuts.
    Boring as shit, but you can do it.

    Not net running is op.... Synapse Burnout is OP... People need to know the difference. This simple hack need to be remove or nerf cause it's stupid.
