an asian bakery i visited often (before i moved lol) sold chiffon cake edges for really cheap in little bags. Sometimes there would be coffee flavored cake strips, other weeks they would have a few strawberry
In Poland they make cake called bajaderka from leftovers from other cakes. They add cocca powder and strong alkohol to it.
