First of all Labour has a governor and almost 70 or 80 senators. What would this Obidient party have? How do you people think a party is run? By happiness? Number 2, if Obi forms a party now and Inec doesn't accredit that party due to reasons of meeting criteria of having functional ward offices all over Nigeria and other criterias, untill 2026 when the list of parties for 2027 election will be published by Inec. Hope you know it's until 2031 before Obidient party can contest for office. Baba Nigeria is Nigeria. I'm fully Obidient but let's battle this issue in labour party till we get our house tidy. The NLC I believe is, in this issue, overreaching itself. Even if the NLC formed the Labour Party, it now has a life of it's own which means it can sue and be sued.
The INEC cannot recognise the NLC's claims to the ownership like any other party which may be formed by anyone but the members own the party.
It is possible that those NLC members that stormed the Labour Party office did not vote the party.
On the Abure issue, it is the members that should call for his exit, not the NLC - that's an overbearing action after all the TUC is there and are not making the kind of noise the NLC keeps making.
