I can't recall the Let's Play but Gavin told Ryan that he threw it away or something. He was unsure of what exactly happened to this gift from Ryan. Hence, Gavin's dumb look on his face when he finds it on the top shelf of that cabinet.

Problem was, Gavin hadn't thrown it away at all - he'd just hidden it on the shelf where he knew Ryan wouldn't look.
