@aluxious I agree- The 580 Exii is way due for an update. They may be waiting on some new technology before releasing it, I heard they just put in some patents for built in radio transmitters in the body. Might just be a rumor, but great things are coming and I am very excited for them
@guesswhoy0 The 430 is a better flash unit alone. The question is, do you plan to do any video in the near future? If so, then the 320 would be a good investment. If not, go for a 580 or 430.
As a XSi dSLR user, would you recommend the 320EX or the 430EX? As you know, the XSi does not have a video function so it is strictly a photography camera. I'm in the market to buy a flash and was wondering which one you would recommend between the two. Thanks in advance.
i have a question! i want to buy some radio triggers to do off camera strobe work. is it possible to use the 320ex with radio triggers even though it doesn't have an lcd screen to control the power manually? i have a canon 60D and i know it has options for wireless manual control but in order to use the 320 wirelessly i have to have the infrared transmitter thats in front of the flash pointing to my cameras flash to receive the "signal" if you will, i don't want to have to go through this hassle
Great REview Michael :) I think ill get this flash to replace my nissin di622 i mean , is compact, it got video led support and is quite cheap in Hong Kong Thx
Hi First i love your vidéos thanks a lot. Can you tell me if i can use that 320ex flash To make low keys pictures with my 70D ? I'm practicing. Thank you

but why you didnt upload the video with widescreen format?
THANK YOU!!!! I never realized how much I could do with this flash!
Thanks for your review of this new flash unit, I find it cool. I might end up buying one of these in order to save some space in my bag.

Great review, Michael. I appreciate your work in getting these to us. I'm deciding between Speedlights and am using your reviews to help. :)

Will it work with a Rebel T3? (Not a T3i)
Would this be a good lens with a 60D?
does it rotate laterally?
So I assume remote firing won't work with 550D? :(
May I control this 320EX through the Canon T3 led screen ?
Will the remote firing work with my Canon T3i / 600d? :)
How does the external flash work??
Can you do a video on Nikon flashes
My recommendation would be to pick up a 580exii on Ebay (~$200). The 320ex is a good back-up flash, but not suitable for serious off camera work

Looks like a flash with a lot of features. Didn't realize it had the wireless trigger on flash.
