Spring HIKE in PORTUGAL 🥾🇵🇹 with a refreshing dip 💦 in a river beach 🏖️

It‘s time to get the hiking boots out of the closet again! The hiking season is in full swing. Let‘s make the most of it 🥾🌱
This time we explore some stunning landscapes and beautiful valley views around the area of Góis. We start our hike at the Praia Fluvial Ponte Velha in Cabreira and walk the trail GOI PR3 along the Ceira river. Along this path, you will be able to see an impressive tunnel („cortada“) which was build only by using human strength and the support of animal traction. After passing through the village of Candosa, which is also the turn around point of the loop trail, you will get to enjoy stunning valley views. You can then decide to take a steep climb up to Cadafaz (official route) or take the „easy“ way back like I did (shortcut). Either way is a good choice 😉
