    He was not just poor, he was the poorest kid around so that the other kids in school made fun of him for being even poorer.

    I really root for him, hes a amazing fighter but also a very sweet person. His life story is pretty much similar to Glover Teixara also, the lows are massive lows but the top is glorious. Best of luck today Ngannou!

    But read yesterday an article about his fight with Gane on the french newspaper Libération website. Let's just say that the article wasn't really Nice for Francis, to say the least.

    Scrolling TH-cam and seeing y'all having Francis on was a complete surprise, and I'm all for it. There's some great stories from great fighters in MMA, I'm glad to see at least one of them being brought to a mainstream audience.
    Looks like this interview was posted sometime on Friday; Francis went on to defend his heavyweight title in an unexpected fashion later on Saturday night.

    Francis is a legend. His background, his journey, his personality, everything, is something I resonate with.
    Being an African myself (Nigerian) you don't see too many people when they get to the top they remember

    Trevor was creating room for fun when he said they both have the wildest punches in the world, I guess Francis didn't quite understand that. Great show Trevor, two respectful humble Africans from South Africa and Cameroon. Africa is gifted, one love my African legends.
