Wow great job! Great voice! If I may make a suggestion, on “boy” in “learns that the boy”, really work on making that a belt in a more pointed space so it really hits. Great job though!
what are you auditioning for? and also, I really like the vibrato you added on "I think I like it." and "birdies took root." I think that on these notes, "impossibly cute!" and "Pulled, pulled, pulled!" this is going to sound weird but try to really push you're tounge down, and really belt out those words. I think your clogging your voice from getting through because your opening you're mouth, but aren't opening you're throat. You should try that it will make you're voice a lot more powerful. also a little tip: On those belting notes, try putting your right foot (if you're right footed) infront of you more then you're left. vise versa. it helps even out you're core so belting comes more natural.
I was auditioning for a local cabaret using this song and I liked the turn out so I posted it. Also thank you so much for the tips, I will definitely try it out for my upcoming show!
