Beautiful stitching. It was surprising to learn you tent stitch using the “last or ending” leg. Makes perfect sense. I haven’t done it yet but I’m sure it would look odd to me as well to start with the direction of the beginning leg… very interesting. I enjoyed watching you stitch, it’s relaxing watching people stitch. I too would love to see more of your set up, stand etc. Thank you for this video! Happy stitching!
Beautiful stitching...cant tell the difference with your project, if its full or half crosses. If I was to do tent stitch, I believe I would do this way too. Looking forward to more videos and stitch with me's....stay safe and enjoy whatever your stitching 😊 P.s. when I have to just a few stitches I was using my already lived threads and tacking it on the back. Then I realized one day that I could split that used thread just like I do a fresh thread and do the loop start with it....its just a little shorter after folding it in half.
Your stitching is beautiful! It was so nice to see how you stitch and tell more about your stitching style and preferences. I’d love to see your stitching area and how you use your frame sometime also! I’ve gone back and watched all your videos, and watching you stitch Treasure Hunt Bookshelf made me want that pattern too (so of course I bought it!). I promised myself no new starts in 2022 so I’ll just have to keep watching you stitch on it this year 😍. Love your channel!
Wow! There are so many aspects of our stitching that is similar! Especially when I stitch cross country from the top left. Trying to do tent stitch with the leg this way / makes me forget I'm doing tent and finish the cross 90% of the time 🤣. So always \ for me, too. Looking foward to your next update! Happy stitching! 💕
Oh my gosh, I didn't even consider how the first leg encourages finishing the cross. That would be me too. I'm not surprised that we stitch similarly! 🥰 I think I can figure out how to do a stitch with me regularly. 🤍🤍🤍
As I’m just getting back into cross stitch, I would love to see a video on how you stitch close up. Also is this whole piece done in tent stitch? I just found you and subscribed. You do wonderful work. Thank you
Welcome back to cross stitching! This piece is entirely in tent stitch. I will be making a video soon all about tent stitching which may help if you have any questions.
Thank you for your videos…I’m going to now try the 2 over 1 tent stitch on 28 ct too. Just wondering…do you wash your pieces after? Or does the stitching cover the grid well enough? Thanks!
Just watched you stitching and i'm really interested in trying out tent stitch. I'd like to try 2x1 tent on 28ct but i have concerns about the fabric warping as i've read on FB groups its a common problem. Can you tell me how you avoid this from happening please as yours look perfect 🙂
My answer is probably unsatisfying because I have no idea. I've never had a warping problem. It could be because I don't work in any strict area and my tension is loose enough to not cause warping.
@@thebrowneyedstitcher thanks so much for replying. I was wondering if its because you do some stitches top to bottom and some bottom to top. Is there a reason you do each stitch a particular direction or do you just mix it up as you go 🙂
You could be right because my stitches aren't always in the same exact way. I will change it up depending on how I can keep the legs of my stitches "short" instead of "long". This one is hard for me to explain without visual! Of course... It could just be that I haven't discovered a warping problem but I still do. 🤷🏻♀️😬
Ask any question! This stand is a K's Creations foldaway stand. The rods are also K's Creations. I asked for a custom cut so that they were long enough for my fabric.
Ich habe mal eine Frage. Stickst du mit Halben Kreuzstich oder Ganzen Kreuzstich. Ich habe mir das Stickbild auch gekauft. Es ist eine wunderschöne Stickerei von dir. Daher möchte ich das Bild auch sticken. Herzliche Grüße von Christiane aus Deutschland
Hallo Suki, ich habe noch eine Frage. Ich sticke auf 25 ct. 2 Fäden halben Kreuzstich. Habe jetzt meine ersten 6000 Stiche gestickt. Das Stickgarn deckt aber nicht den Stoff ab. Es schimmert weißer Stoff durch. Hast du auch 25 ct oder sticks du auf 28 ct? Herzliche Grüße Christiane

I'll definitely show my setup next week!

Sometimes I will do the same with pre-loved threads! It kinda depends on how long the thread is.

Oh! How exciting that you got Treasure Hunt Bookshelf! I'll show my setup next week. Promise.

P.S. I would love a stitch with me with you, even if there's no talking. Sometimes I just need the quiet company while I stitch after a long day 🥰

This pre-gridded fabric is meant to be washed afterwards! The grid comes out in the washing.

Thank you! 🤍🤍
Hey! I know this video is 2 years old..but could you please tell me how you rearranged your stow away stand to get it how it is? Thank you!
I removed the bottom bar that connects the two legs and then I just turned the legs backwards and attached the scroll frame again!
@@thebrowneyedstitcher awesome! Thank you so much! Miss your videos btw 😀
@sharmancarroll2574 I'll be back! I promise!
Can you tell me what kind of stand or frame that is? I’m real new to this so I don’t know anything about the frames and stands. Thank you

Thank you. I love your channel, you make everything really easy to understand.
Oh, I'm glad to hear that! 🤍
Enjoyed watching you stitch. Just wished you could have zoomed in more.
I've gotten a few other requests for a close up stitching of this particular project. I'll do that one of these days!!
What frame are you using to stitch this project? TFS!
It is custom cut scroll rods from K's Creations!

I stitch half cross. Mine are slanted bottom right to top left. I hope that helps!

I wish you could really zoom in on your stitching. That would help tremendously.
My live streams are more zoomed in! I can go even closer too, I think.
