Thanks Gill, yes the Kemberton was a bit different with the loo with a view! The french bed one looked really cozy! All the very best, David & Rachel 👍
Excellent review once again. I would just mention that most if not all of the Auto-sleepers also come with semi rear air suspension, Avtex TV and Avtex wifi 994X Also there are some very good dealer discounts available. In the case of the M Star £15000+ at one dealership.
Thank you - appreciated. Great to hear there are some good discounts available - they do come well equipped and that's a consideration if you want that stuff as that can save you £1k+ in extras can't it. Thanks again, all the best, David 👍
Interesting. I think Elddis has the better vehicle for a rear lounge in the CV20 than a Warwick. 12:00 Both sides can be longitudinal singles and the double can be longitudinal too, so no climbing over each other. Having had 2 Autosleepers and currently a CV20, I think the ramp in cost for build quality ( supposedly Autosleepers), is too steep. The Elddis is better value. The main gripe I have is the base unit has no front foglights and the main headlamps alone are dire.
Really interesting point - the CV20 is exceptionally hard to replace, especially for someone my height (6ft5) as we’re finding out. You’re right, more base vehicle options would be fantastic. The cost to value is very interesting also - Thanks for watching and commenting, all the very best, David 👍
We have a Warwick duo and absolutely love it ,not odd at all where the toilet room is it’s that you are used to having it on the other side . Most European van toilet are that side , can’t say I have had an issue with a blind spot , David . But we are all different. B ,
Hi David a great video and review of the auto sleepers have always liked their solid design and hand made quality and they are our local motorhome maker really from Evesham! Some great features there and quality but some of the prices are unbelievable I think the Warwick is a great layout not sure of the Kemerton with the bathroom layout but love the fixed bed option and that’s a nice bit of design Great to see a Mercedes chassis as a change from the stellantis ones as well Did any features come into your search from the AS vans? All the very best to you both Daniel
Hi Daniel - they are very nice vans aren’t they - felt very plush. Main thing I’ve been looking for is a rear lounge with a large enough bed (which is challenging) but one of them was of interest - sure you can guess which one (under £90k!) All the best, David 👍
They seem to have a lot of equipment like air conditioning in a lot of them - its a shame where there isn’t windows which open - suppose it’s a bit different and more secure. They were very comfortable to sit in 😀 All the best, catch you soon - David & Rachel 👍🙌
I have a Hillside Birchover T6.1 2021 reg and have been looking for a 5.4 length campervan without a pop top. I looked at a new Autosleeper Symbol at Marquis just lately and was disappointed with the build quality especially for the price of the van! I don’t need the bells and whistles of a tv, microwave and wine glasses in a cupboard I just want a well made van.
@@LeisureBit Thank you David for your help. I have looked at Consort and they do have good vans but I’m trying to get a van with at least 3 belted seats. It’s because of my dog I think he would get too excited sitting at the front (he’s a young Border Terrier). So my choices are very limited at 5.4 metres. I wonder if there’s any way Consort could fix another belt? 🤔
125K for a Sprinter that will be in the scrapyard in 20 years 😵💫 Love the channel btw... Sad fact is that Sprinters are not galvanized. Such a shame , but I suppose Mercedes want to sell new vans periodically
Thank you - pleased you are enjoying them. Anything Merc based seems to attract a premium, I have priced up the base vans and it looks like around £50k for the conversion. Nice vans but premium price. All the very best, David 👍
@LeisureBit That is absolutely ridiculous money for a van conversion let alone a Proper Motorhome!!😬 Are there any Motorhomes there with front and rear drop down double beds if you don't mind me asking?🤔👍🏻
That’s a really good point, I hadn’t thought of that - it felt quite odd having it on that side and now you mention it, often check out the window on the sliding door on some junctions to make sure all clear as you can get a further view sometimes. All the very best, David 👍
We used to secure her up at the front but now at the back, she has a bed on the floor and we have somewhere to attach to near that - she prefers it there. Hope that makes sense, all the best, David & Rachel 👍
Thank you - I think it would be usable but I didn’t fully check it out but it looked as if it would be usable (all be it not the biggest shower room) - thanks again, all the best, David 👍
@@LeisureBit thanks David. The Kingham would be perfect for me as a solo traveller, but the shower room looks tiny (sadly I’m not!)😬. I’ll have to try and find one within a reasonable travelling distance. The sofas in Auto-sleepers, I seem to remember, are always really comfortable.
The Kemberton definitely had a loo with a view 😂. I really liked the one with the French bed. Thank you for taking us around. Take care Gill

Thanks for this. The Warwick ticks a few boxes for us as 6m and a rear lounge. Looking forward to seeing what else fits that too!
Thank you - pleased it was useful - they seemed to be very nice vans and comfortable. All the very best, David 👍

@GH-cb3ut we had a look at the Warwick yesterday and, although it's nice, it didn't quite float our boat in the end :(

Nice vans the Auto sleepers, only the fact the sindows don't open is a bit off putting, They are very nice though

There’s a few people doing the 5.4m - have you looked at the consort? They seem to have less bells and whistles and may suit? All the best, David 👍

@@LeisureBit You could look at a wildax pular. 5.4m, 4 seats/belts.

Sad fact is that Sprinters are not galvanized.
Such a shame , but I suppose Mercedes want to sell new vans periodically
Thanks very much. I wonder why they don't galvanise the chassis on the Sprinters as shame if it's limiting the lifespan. All the very best, David 👍
Seriously how is that M star worth 125k utter madness!!😱🙄 Enjoying your vlogs from the show young man!!👌🏻👍🏻

The problem with a washroom of the passger side that far forward is that it creates a large blindspot on the left

Just wondering what you do with Roxy when you travel in a CV20? How do you secure her please?

Loved the Autosleeper reviews David, thank you. What did you think of the shower room in the Kingham? Is it usable? 🤔
