Do we know how accurate the fuel qty is on the EIS? Is there some sort of fudge factor? For example, can we say the fuel quantity on the MFD is within 10 percent accuracy higher or lower than actual fuel quantity.
just like analog gauges, we do not trust these with our lives. We do always verify the fuel level physically first, then reference the MFD. The fuel totalizer that calculates fuel usage is actually quite accurate. This can be checked/monitored over time if you verify fuel consumption after each flight. Then after dipping the tanks to see how much you have consumed, compare this to the totalizer.
Can the piper crash if fuel is passed from one to the other ,one having 40 gallons and just loaded 4o gallons to one tank only ,can that make this plane crash ? Jfk Jr had the same plane and crashed . Can his plane out of control , making it impossible to gain control
Thank you for making this video. It's very clearly explained and well organized.
Thank you for that amazing video, any chance you are willing to share that presentation? Thanks again
