The sun disc thing happened to me too, really frustrating.. You have full board but the relic used on Nasus makes space for the sun disc. I guess it's a bug but really sad
Yeah, it's sad that's the case. Other commenters seem to think it's limitations in the game code, so I guess nothing can be really done about that. I guess we'll just have to try to maintain at least 1 slot open from now on
For the Nasus and poro fluf, in the game code a level up champion is considered a different card. In programming you can't have the same object (in this case a card) that has the same name but two different effects or properties. That is why the game treats level 2 champions as different cards from their level 1 counterpart. From the point of view of the player is the same card, but from the code point of view they are not. That causes some of this weird interactions. I hope the explanation is clear as english is not my first language,

I have zero knowledge in programming unfortunately, so I think you can understand why I viewed it that way haha 😅. It's a shame that's the scenario though haha. I hope they find some way to workaround this because I don't think the stats should reset IMO.
@@AkephaLoR I do agree that the stats should not reset when the champ levels. May be as you said in the video they did not play test enough. I'm confident that they can find a work around for that, so the gameplay experience is better when using that relic.
Items working differently before/after levelup has been a bug since the very very first iteration of PoC (whatever name it had back then). I noticed it on cost-modifying items. At that time stuff worked properly on leveled champs only for example the Lurk power for 3cost units didn't give stats to a 3cost lv1 Braum (and gave stats to a 4cost lv1 Lucian) but did give stats to 3cost Braum at lv2 (and removed Lurk stats from the 4cost Lucian upon leveling up). I never signaled that bug so maybe no one ever signaled it. Sorry. I guess that's the problem happening with Fluft here, it's like the levelup triggers an update on all items and overwrites some stuff that happened before.
It's obviously a bug i believe. I don't see any world where they decided that Poro Fluft re-triggers after levelup. AND even if they decided that, it should still not affect Nasus because he's supposed to be coded to get the sum of Slay counters at all times, he's not supposed to be coded to gain those stacks 1 by 1 as if they could be lost.
Yea man, that's the same logic I had, but I wasn't sure how to word it haha 😅. The Fluft resetting the stats to me didn't make sense since Nasus has the stacks from before. Curiously, one user pointed out that it might be because Nasus Lvl 2 is considered a mew card because of programming limitations. But the core mechanic like you said should carry over the stacks. Unless the carry over goes first then the poro fluft second, causing the reset which quite frankly is a buzzkill haha 😅
Haha man that Poro item got me as well, i thought that when susaN was set to 1 mana and 1|1 stat was ok but the level up reset back, luckily I got the buff stat from dark star fragment. For me that some relics that got rework got bug as well...

The Fluff only really has a purpose on units who's abilities are great but they are expensive. It ruins the orb item by having a chance of being slapped on a unit. The card that draws on strike is my least favorite though. Hand absolutely overflowing the whole game and would be better as a relic or PoC exclusive equipment card that is placed in your hand at the start.
I feel like the best one taking everything into consideration is probably the Emperor's Favour 🤣. You generate only one card, does not crash the game like Norra's Tea, will not reset stats and won't fill up your hand haha 🤣

Yea, that's the biggest benefit, early expensive champs. At its current state though, maybe unusable 😅. I'll definitely wait until hopefully it gets looked into before picking it up again. Very disappointing tbh.
I was so close into using all my 40 shards to lvl up Nasus to lvl 3 today! Thank the gods u uploaded this video addressing this issue! Instead i got a level 2 Leona which is sooo much more fun! (for me atleast lol)
There's also a bug with the norra item. If you draw a card with that item at the start of the game, it crashes. I had to close an reopen the client to fix it. It messes up my run cause i have it on jhin with farsight alteration.
Ah I see. I havent gotten/used the Norra's Tea item yet, and that's unfortunate. I feel like they're just strong-arming things into the game just go make deadlines but they probably didn't even test it beforehand 🤣

Idk if it just me but For me i have a bug with norra tea and farsight when i have 2 or more norra tea and farsight in my card idk why it keep freezing i need to refresh the game so i can play it

I got poro fluft with Pyke, as it seemed to work greatly playing it from hand. It worked fine until I suicided one pike blocking cause I was getting another one next round (death from below was activated) and could use it to lvl up Pyke and clear the board, winning the game (I was trying lvl 1 1 star Pyke into Naut and got fluft just before final fight). Next round I hovered over the eye and was shocked when the dmg was 1. I did it anyway and it summoned a 1/1 lvl 1 Pyke, lurk buffs useless cause it showed +8 power lurk and -8 power poro fluft, so for some reason the stat fix at 1/1 came after the lurk was applied, even for the spell, which hadn't happened for the first Pyke I had. I don't know if it was because the "champion" was created or what was the reason, I lost and have not been able to replicate ir so far to see why this problem happens.
Oh man, that sucks to lose like that. I think the problem is that the Poro Fluft is triggering AFTER the level up. That's the only explanation I can think of. Because of that, the item triggers and resets the stats back to 1.
@@AkephaLoR The thing is that Pyke was not leveled. I intended to level him with the spell, and I couldn't because of the 1 attack. Sorry if I made myself not clear. Maybe there are the two issues at the same time or idk. Let's hope we don't have to wait for too long for it to be solved

Yesterday I pick Poro Fluff for Nasus and the next game if i have him in hand game was reloaded. And after restart, match counts as lose. It seems to be should avoid that item :(
Sooo...I seems a little weird here, the first one when you attack with all units it does summoned a Sun Disc but it does not destroy but the second one when you slayed the units with Azir it summoned the Sun Disc then destroy it? That weird.

i think that beacuse it normally summons buried sundisc and than it counts it down, the game cant count down landmark that is in ''unit placing to board queue''(the very right space when attacking)
I agree with @@vetres3 . It's normal that it summons the non-restored SD and counts it down. Then, even though you freed 1 board space it got summoned as a queued backrow item where it probably can't be updated at all. I wonder though if it would have worked in the exact same case but with the sacrificed unit not being blocked. Because in that case the attack/defense board would immediately be resized to 5-wide instead of 6-wide after sacrifice and maybe the landmark would have been summoned directly in the backrow and advanced to get Restored.
Akepha, Big fan. Just want to let you know that you should probably avoid calling bugs an instance of "laziness" on the devs' part. It's not that there's not much thought or effort going into Path of Champions or LoR as a game, it's a big game. There's thousands of interactions to account for and hundreds more with each new mechanic. I'm saying this as a general thing. Lazy devs aren't real. For something as big as a game to be made, people need to care at least on some level. More often than not, bugs are an instance of a lack of time or a lack of resources. You're not "calling it as you see it" and you're not speaking the harsh truth, you're just being ignorant.

Nah, programming all of the interactions of a card game is not at all easy. It's actually amazing that MTG Arena works as well as it does considering all of the ruling nightmares that that game can produce. Riot with PoC in particular does not seem to be handling it very well.
Poro Fluff is a super strong item, are you serious? I mean I understand if you're like six years old and you're still grappling with basic concepts, but, you know you want to try and put it on cards with strong effects, not big stats...right?

Haha Star 2 Leona is great! It's definitely unfortunate that Star 3 Nasus is only somewhat playable. Hopefully they get that fixed

Sadly the amount of bugs that have come out of PoC lately and their inability to quickly fix them indicates some deep programing/engine problems.
i think that i cant even be fixed cuz they would have to remove one unit to summon buried sun disk and game mechanics to advance it down.
