    P.S. I recorded this with the camera app on my laptop because I like the vibes it's giving (only when the lighting is not playing around, though). I hope it feels as if we are on a video call. The blurry-ish quality is kind of giving 🧸cozy🧸!!

    I've struggled with friendships all my life and I'm still lost to be honest haha. I think it depends also on your past experiences, but many people today don't even want new friends - they have their years long group and are so exclusive that one don't even have the will to even try to become friends because they're so ignorant. or, someone like me, who's been let down & deceived by people who I thought would be my friends for life - okay I'm blabbing now haha, but I think it makes perfect sense that there's a ''loneliness epidemic'' with all that is happening right now in the social sphere and it seems like that everyone has multiple bad experiences with people, so they become stuck and don't even try ... okay, I could be there till the morning, because this is such a lengthy topic, but props to you for filming a video on such a complex and hard topic

      @cherrycloudies So true!! Heavy on the "many people today don't even want new friends - they... are so exclusive..." this was one of the reasons why I struggled to make friends during my A-Levels! I agree with you so much! It's definitely one reason why it is difficult to make friends. Yeah, ikr! Being let down or not receiving the same energy we give to the people we think are our friends... that can be very painful, and it also makes you question the friendship, and it's like... is it a one-sided friendship, or are they envious, etc? For example, they are not giving you the same amount of support that you give them. "Loneliness epidemic" that's interesting. Being alone has its positive side, and I do still believe that there are many good-hearted people out there who are looking for good and genuine friendships like we do. For example, the fact that you exist means that good people like you exist, too

    I usually share my vibe with them to be friends with them , but when it doesn’t work I just try to ask them about what they like what they love about the work we share
    And talk with them about the homework and the assignment we have until we share some chemistry , then I start sharing my vibes again with them, and maybe maybe if we hangout together like 2 /3 times or something we will be more friends! ( also try to be confident while talking or be more honest about your reactions that would be better)
    I don’t know if this was useful but I just wrote what I thought about !
    All love from Egypt 🇪🇬 💖

    Unfortunately social media hasn’t helped anything in this respect. A lot of people who use social media daily don’t realize just how isolated they are from actual interaction. They have maybe their very close few friends that interact in person with and because the rest of their life is filled with screen time and constant stimulation, they might not feel the drive for any sort of further connection because they’re constantly “interacting” on a surface level, even though no real interaction is taking place. Some may even unknowingly/subconsciously gate themselves off from human to human interaction because of these aforementioned things. Humans are not meant to live the way we are now, no matter how introverted or anti-social you are, we are inherently social creatures that need interaction, love, and warmth. Sooner or later, isolation catches up with you and you get issues that we see becoming increasingly more common. I’m 28 years old and I worry sometimes about where we’re headed, I feel so separate from how a lot of people my age conduct themselves, it’s isolating in and of itself to be uninterested in social media and more interested in the real thing.

      I cannot really find likeminded people IRL, hence I keep coming back to social media where in a few clicks I find people who are sometimes eerily like myself.

    • @sukhwansukhwan

      @Kerunou Social media can be distracting sometimes in this respect, which makes it difficult to make friends and connections in real life because people are just not living in the present moment, + the points you have mentioned. At the same time, it is possible to meet and connect with new people, such as at uni, events, hobbies, on vacation, etc. Even though we might feel like it's difficult to find like-minded people, we can't stop putting ourselves out there. If we stop putting ourselves out there, the probability of us finding like-minded people will be zero. For example, I have been more of an introvert the past years but I have realized that in this world, networking and connecting with like-minded people is very important, therefore I am working on becoming a better and confident conversationalist/someone who can talk to anyone (you know those people who can talk to anyone and easily make friends/acquaintances? These people are pretty charismatic). While social media might not be helpful in this respect, I do believe that it is still possible to find like-minded people, e.g. at uni, events, hobbies, while traveling, etc. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts @Kerunou . I appreciate your support!!

    • @sukhwansukhwan
      @sukhwansukhwan  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @RandomAccessMemoryloss Yeah, I understand. For example, I haven't really found people in my daily life yet, who are on their personal development journey or who have a similar mindset as me when it comes to goals, financial freedom, etc. On social media, it seems easier to find people who have these interests, mindset, and goals. We can use social media as a networking platform, meaning it is possible for us to connect with like-minded people on there, but in order for them to see and trust us, we need to put ourselves out there, too. We know that they exist (e.g. because of their content), so we need to put ourselves out there too in order for them to know that we exist, too. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this topic. I appreciate your support!!

      @keithmurf426 100%! We can use social media as a networking platform to connect with like-minded people. Therefore, it is important to have trust and put ourselves out there, so like-minded people know that we exist, too.
