I keep meaning to come down, but was out in Haworth yesterday with a friend, so was in the van, waiting for January to book the versys in for seals check, its burning a bit of oil so probably piston rings need replacing. Gotta take it in January, still able to ride it so next sunday i might bob down.

this is the bike that is coaxing me back on the road after a 30 year absence! A Z900RS is what I wanted, but this is what I can afford! Looks a stack of fun and a great run around for when the Wife has I car and I need to be places! Getting meself down the Honda dealership this weekend Only downfall is Wednesday night ride out with me biker chums is probably a no no with the performance......
Been looking for a 125 I can't make my mind up which to get I'm leaning towards the Dax but have to say it's a hard choice I'm 6' 3" and 125 kg so perhaps too big for these bikes but a nice change from my Africa Twin DCT however must be honda
That’s absolutely awesome!! The DAX is my second pick for sure out of the mini-moto’s. Just wish it had a clutch like the Monkey… If you had to take a guess, how many folks would you say have sat on your Monkey? Great video Brother!! “Viva the Monkey Revolution!”
Thanks for the comment Brother. I have definitely had more than 100 people sat on my Monkey. My Second pick is the CT125 Hunter Cub but they aren’t available in Europe, I have ordered one from Thailand and am having it imported for the channel. VIVA! Cheers Dean
@@ratscoot Food for thought…I like it…I haven’t ridden the new Dax, but my C90 I believe would be similar as it has no clutch lever. I need to rev slightly just as I am downshifting. As for the stall…You could always turn off the ignition…Cheers Dean

Great bikes. After Years of Big bikes, I have loved having the Monkey for these past 3 Years….Take a look back at some of the fun I have had on it…..You wouldn’t regret the Dax…Cheers Dean
Hi, he said he had changed the gear change by a notch….Howard, if you see this comment, can you let people know what you changed and how much difference it has made…Cheers Dean
A yellow monkey is my most wanted bike atm, thinking of getting rid of 900 ninja and downsize completely to one, always liked Monkeys over dax but since hearing about new dax and the fact they're pillion friendly, I'm leaning towards one of those instead, where did you get your pelt from, I love those on bikes, I.saw a grom for sale with one on and could never find it again when I wanted to take some screenshots of it and find out some info...
Weather it's a sleepy French village or a form of transport for angry Saxons on a big weekend... DAX... As thay say in France " the Beneli has got 4 valves !"'
Hi - it's Big Rodders in Ireland, 2020 yellow Monkey Bike rider. I feel Honda missed a trick with the new Dax by not fitting the original collapsing handlebars. I also prefer the manual clutch and consider the Monkey has a more iconic look. However, to each his/her own.
I used to have the ST70 with drop down handle bars when I was 13 in the early Eighties. My dad would lash it in the back of the car and take me to the rucks…
@@monkeydixadventures Big Rodders again. That's exactly the point I was making. I can fit the Monkey in my van but the Dax with collapsing handlebars would make it a favourite on the motorhome scene, more so if the pillion seat was important.
Hi dean ,The dax is a little stunner did he say how much it cost ? , I’m a huge fan a small bikes , I originally had a 2019 red monkey which was written off , missed it so much I bought 2 , 5 speed groms and a 5 speed monkey in blue , just recently I’ve bought 2 benelli tnts to compare against the Hondas , in total I covered 6000 miles this year on my small bikes , more than I did on my large bikes , for the record the groms are the best road bikes , the monkeys are awesome ,benelli’s are an impressive bit of kit too,£1300 cheap and in part some thing are better than the Hondas , brakes , forks , much larger fuel tank , anyone who’s thing of going for a small bike , take the plunge no matter what you choose their a riot 🏍🏍👍👍,
Howdy Glen, I hope you are enjoying your Dax. As it says in the description “touted as the First in the UK..Tell us if you got yours earlier”. When and where did you grab yours bud? Did you go for the Red or the Blue? Do you have any other small bikes? Cheers Dean
Nice one Dean! - Quite like that Dax in the blue, looks better on the video than it does in the press pictures. Viva! MR135.

Can you stall a Dax in an emergency brake since it has no clutch? I’ve read you have to rev match it when downshifting?
@@ratscoot No idea. Your talking above me🤪😁
The CT125 is the only other clutchless bike.
Might have to ask one of those riders.
