Yes they can, you will use the looping tool to get the hair through since it won’t be prelooped anymore but that method is pretty easy too

Only if you’re rough and neglect your hair. Obviously you would be a bit more cautious when combing and pulling on your hair.

I hate to say this but I bought these twice. Carefully installed. I don't do much with my hair...cowash weekly with minimal manipulation...wash every 3 weeks. I would use a flat iron every 2 week, and wrap at night. I have sensory issues...so I don't leave anything in longer than 3 weeks. These loops thinned my hair out both times. I have 3C/4A fine hair that comes down to my shoulders. The loops just started falling out...and it was not an installation issue. The center of the loops did not seem to be coated properly. It snagged on my hair. My install was gorgeous. I installed it while watching season 3 of the handmaid's tale. Soooo easy to install... It did cause breakage.

Hi ​@blubeachbaby there are beads that have silicone that coat the inside of the beads. I like to use those on my clients. If you try this method again. Try the beads with the silicone. 🙂💁🏽‍♀️

​@@lavonasmith6953Yes, I have the coated beads, and I have done the traditional type of install with links that I made and coated beads. My hair did not break. I did it with beads and wefts too... No breakage. I a specifically referring to the Y wigs prelooped links that she is installing. The beads are already attached to the hair. I bought them twice. The hair blends beautifully, the hair is soft and pretty... It does shed a little, but the texture match was on point. Trust me when I say that these beads are not coated like the beads that you buy separately. They secure around the hair strands nicely, and install flatter than the regular beads. However, your hair will snag... Even with minimal manipulation. I will go as far as to say that it installs so nicely and easily that you will be tempted to buy it a second time... Writing it off as an installation error when your hair breaks. The beads are coated... But whatever the coating is, it scrapes against the hair strands and cause breakage. I never leave reviews. This is the absolute truth. I have my second bundal from my second purchase sitting in my closet because I am going to cut the bead off, and create tips from the hair and use the beads that I already have, just so I can use the hair. The hair is nice.

​@@SimplySubrenaNope, that is not the only way. I love Y wigs hair. I didn't have issues with the hair. I had issues with the bead. I would love to know what they actually coat it with because the bead snags with minimal manipulation. If I had to guess, I would guess that the coating inside of the bead may crack a bit once the bead is secured, causing micros nags with any motion that are barely noticeable until you wear them for a few weeks, then take them out. This did not happen with the thicker, silicone coated beads that I bought when I made my own tips. The beads did not snag, the silicone ring was thicker than the pre looped beads, and they did not lay as flat as the y wigs prelooped beads... But there was definitely a price to pay for that. I have never had an urge to highly rate a product so bad as I did with this hair, but I simply can't do that. I don't know the hows or the whys behind the two types of beads, but something is different with them. When you secure the bead, it even makes a different sound than the original beads. Ask me how my neuro diverse brain knows... 😂😁😁
