The only one I've owned is Vampira, but I took it back to Sephora because it would start to look like crap within an hour of application. Just a mess. Never experienced that with liquid mattes and I've tried most of the liquid lipsticks available. I ended up with the Studded Kiss version of Lolita and LOVE it. But i'm thinking I might have to pick up Double Dare and Mother and give these another shot. Thanks for the detailed review.Reminded me of the Temptalia format.

elevanesc Aw, thanks Elevanesc! Outlaw is definitely the way to go if you're looking for a true, bright red. Underage Red is incredibly similar to Outlaw, I just found it tend to lean a tiny bit warmer and more orange once swatched though-if you happen to prefer warmer shades. (:

Hands down the most informative and useful review style !! Loved this video. I personally didn't like this line of lipsticks but I don't think there was any fault in the product, I just have very dry lips with lines and so the product tended to make my lips look more dry even though it didn't feel "drying". But great review!

Great review! I've been waiting for it since the lipsticks released. The comparisons were an awesome addition to the review. I've had Outlaw and Vampira for a while now and they're my favourite lipsticks. I noticed when I swatched the new shades in Sephora they didn't feel "flat", but more suede, like they caught in some places even when it was completely dry. I know she modified her formulas to make them vegan now - did you notice that these didn't last as long as the old shades?
jenpower Thanks so much, Jen! I get what you mean about the different textures. They feel more... soft (you nailed it with suede) than the older shades-which just felt like bare lips in comparison. I didn't find it cut down the wear time, but some shades definitely had a different feeling finish than previous. (:

So anyway so far I've only picked one up the color exorcism, I love burgundy and fall is coming soon so I figured why not. I started with other brands that shall not be named and loved them. Now I almost exclusively wear liquid lipstick or anything with a matte finish.
Ashley Tea That's the one downfall of liquid lipsticks being so long-lasting, they take forever to test out for reviewing! ;) haha Liquid lipsticks may as well be considered their own special category! I hope you end up loving those shades, Ashley! I heard _a brand that shall not be named_ had a great performing matte black lipstick as well, might be a tough competition but Kat Von D should pull through!

I know I have a sensitivity to carmine and red lake pigments-mainly the cheek area-but there's been a few lip products that have given me a reaction, too. :( It's a mixture of MAC Orange, Chrome Yellow and Sketch e/s, and MAC Lily White pigment. I love how you included dupes for some of the shades! Even though I know that I'll probably end up getting some of the shades, I'm quite over the liquid lipstick hype. Mainly because I feel like they are very high maintenance to apply :( Oh! Bow and Arrow looks great on you!! :D

I just picked up Ayesha and Double Dare last week (adding to my Berlin/Echo collection) and it seems I always get a different product than everyone else! My Ayesha is much more grey, muted, and opaque than your or Temptalia's swatches (I LOVE the one I got though), Double Dare is more of a nude peach (similar to MAC Pander Me), my Berlin looks more like Bachelorette (still wondering if I got a mislabeled tube), and my Echo is much darker, with one layer being very streaky and two being a blue-tinted black! My skin is similar to Temptalia's, so it must just be different runs of each product.

To keep it short and sweet, I have an incredibly supportive, wonderful family and boyfriend who are willing to help give me the opportunity to make my dream job a reality. +Hailey L My personal favorite is the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Color Pencil in Tarred. It's multipurpose for both eyes and lips, but it's creamy, crazy pigmented and applies easily to lips without dragging or pulling-it's brilliant and a lot nicer to use, since it sets, than your typical eye pencil would be. (:

I'm glad Damned worked better for you! I just couldn't deal with how clumpy it got around the inner rim of my lip. Witches and Echo are my two favorites so far. I wear them both for shows and they last well through mashing my mouth against the microphone, so that's saying something! Ayesha is oddly flattering on me, so I wear it a lot to the office.

It's a shame damned didn't work out, but I'm glad some other brilliant, unique shades did for you! (: Also, I love it! +xynnamon roll Thanks so much, Xynnamon! Honestly, when it comes down to Noble in the liquid formula, I don't think it flatters _ANY_ skin tone! It's so pale and peachy... The only way I can think to pull it off is if you layered it on the center of your lips (over top of another shade) to create an ombre type effect-if you went that route, than definitely! (:
+GHOUL -9 They hold up pretty well against water. You can definitely drink and take a shower with these on _(as some examples)_ without having them wear off, just be mindful not to rub at your lips! (:

Question. I've worn this once before and I didn't like it. Maybe it's MY lips or I'm not sure if I have to wear like a Chapstick under the lip gloss. But after having it on after a while it was coming off from the middle towards the inside if that makes sense lol and it was a bit sticky. Any tips so that it doesn't come off so fast? And so that it doesn't crack.
+Christina Garcia The best way to apply liquid lipsticks is to bare, dry lips-you _will_ want to make sure your lips are nicely hydrated before application, but wearing a chapstick underneath them would cause the product to not dry fully/correctly, move around and fade off much faster. It's normal for liquid lipsticks to fade towards the center of your mouth first after awhile, especially if you're eating, drinking, talking or just in general using your mouth a lot. To help with the longevity and cracking issues, you could always try pairing a lip liner underneath the liquid lipstick-that'd be my best suggestion! I hope you find your solution, Christina! +Modernaires, hi, thanks for the review, I own the shade damned, it fades overtime, after two hours max, I feel the need to reapply it, if I pressed my lips together it moves. I'm not returning just because I like the shade and Don't find it from other brands. I don't know if there's a technique I can use to make it last longer.

I know people have had issues with Damned _(applying super patchy, wearing away extremely uneven, etc.)_ but nothing as bad as you described! I've had Outlaw and Vampira for a while now and they're my favourite lipsticks. I noticed when I swatched the new shades in Sephora they didn't feel "flat", but more suede, like they caught in some places even when it was completely dry. I know she modified her formulas to make them vegan now - did you notice that these didn't last as long as the old shades?
jenpower Thanks so much, Jen! I get what you mean about the different textures. They feel more... soft (you nailed it with suede) than the older shades-which just felt like bare lips in comparison. I didn't find it cut down the wear time, but some shades definitely had a different feeling finish than previous. (:

I've been eagerly waiting for you to review the new colors and you've helped me make up my mind on buying Witches and Nosferatu. I'm a liquid lipstick junkie. I started with other brands that shall not be named and loved them. Now I almost exclusively wear liquid lipstick or anything with a matte finish.
Ashley Tea That's the one downfall of liquid lipsticks being so long-lasting, they take forever to test out for reviewing! ;) haha Liquid lipsticks may as well be considered their own special category! I hope you end up loving those shades, Ashley! I heard _a brand that shall not be named_ had a great performing matte black lipstick as well, might be a tough competition but Kat Von D should pull through!

It's a mixture of MAC Orange, Chrome Yellow and Sketch e/s, and MAC Lily White pigment. I'll have a tutorial up tomorrow if you're interested! (:

I bought most of them too. I love witches. It is a beautiful flattering matte. MOTHER is my favorite shade of them all along with lovesick and susperia. Good review. Love the comparisons to other brands and shades

I just picked up Ayesha and Double Dare last week (adding to my Berlin/Echo collection) and it seems I always get a different product than everyone else! My Ayesha is much more grey, muted, and opaque than your or Temptalia's swatches (I LOVE the one I got though), Double Dare is more of a nude peach (similar to MAC Pander Me), my Berlin looks more like Bachelorette (still wondering if I got a mislabeled tube), and my Echo is much darker, with one layer being very streaky and two being a blue-tinted black! My skin is similar to Temptalia's, so it must just be different runs of each product.

Oddly enough, a few of my original KvD Liquid Lipstick shades used to swatch super streaky as well, but after testing them recently, they're not as much as they once were. Perhaps I'm doing something differently, who knows. It's incredibly weird. :O
My go to is LUV and none of the other liquid lipsticks i tried even come close to the way I feel about LUV!! But now, I want so many more be cause of you hihihi, but I'll start with Lovesick!

+Hailey L My personal favorite is the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Color Pencil in Tarred. It's multipurpose for both eyes and lips, but it's creamy, crazy pigmented and applies easily to lips without dragging or pulling-it's brilliant and a lot nicer to use, since it sets, than your typical eye pencil would be. (:

Witches and Echo are my two favorites so far. I wear them both for shows and they last well through mashing my mouth against the microphone, so that's saying something! Ayesha is oddly flattering on me, so I wear it a lot to the office.
Angelika Roswell I was honestly surprised when those three _(Damned, Witches, Echo)_ ended up applying so well! It's a shame damned didn't work out, but I'm glad some other brilliant, unique shades did for you! (:

The only way I can think to pull it off is if you layered it on the center of your lips (over top of another shade) to create an ombre type effect-if you went that route, than definitely! (:

Question. I've worn this once before and I didn't like it. Maybe it's MY lips or I'm not sure if I have to wear like a Chapstick under the lip gloss. But after having it on after a while it was coming off from the middle towards the inside if that makes sense lol and it was a bit sticky. Any tips so that it doesn't come off so fast? And so that it doesn't crack.
+Christina Garcia The best way to apply liquid lipsticks is to bare, dry lips-you _will_ want to make sure your lips are nicely hydrated before application, but wearing a chapstick underneath them would cause the product to not dry fully/correctly, move around and fade off much faster.
It's normal for liquid lipsticks to fade towards the center of your mouth first after awhile, especially if you're eating, drinking, talking or just in general using your mouth a lot. To help with the longevity and cracking issues, you could always try pairing a lip liner underneath the liquid lipstick-that'd be my best suggestion! I hope you find your solution, Christina! I'm not returning just because I like the shade and Don't find it from other brands. I don't know if there's a technique I can use to make it last longer.

I know people have had issues with Damned _(applying super patchy, wearing away extremely uneven, etc.)_ but nothing as bad as you described!
