  • Time-lapse pictures predominantly from Melbourne City and nearby beaches. Includes shots from the Melbourne CBD ground-level, car-park roof-tops, apartment balconies, end wider areas. Also features the (currently disassembled) Southern Star Observation Wheel. Panning and zooms achieved via hi-res images tweens using FinalCut Express over HD canvas, allowing for no actual movement during shot. Shot on either Canon 7D or 5D. Many many hours involved... Music composed by Steven Wright using Logic.

There's nothing regular about this. Really nice work. That eureka shot . . .

@MikeyLight1971 Thank you. Yep, I'm with you on the Eureka shot - it's the strongest one in there i reckon

@mydreamisrx8 Thanks. On the music side, it is something I wrote. Music isn't my strength, but i'd rather use my own work than someone else. Good luck with you own projects

Well done. Very good choice of clips, and music.
BTW, did you have the camera moving while taking the pics? or did you just pan the video afterwards using software?

Thanks very much Nektarios Christopoulos . Happy with the feedback on the soundtrack, as it's an original composition I made. On the motion, nope, that's all post - ken burns effect - work. I really want to do some dolly timelapse stuff, as you get the perspective when things are in the foreground / background. With the way I've done it, it's all a but 2D. Thanks again
