ManDo to be fair the people who film and continues to upload such content are really the ones that are at fault one for making most people in this generation sociopaths. We have focused on negativity from reddit to live leak to even “every day” media for once I believe Society needs to take a step back and focus of the fundamentals of life and death and the respect that follows. Be kind to your friends and family and especially to your enemies. Spread love and peace guy.
ManDo I don't really watch them because I find them entertaining. I watch them because I want to be able to react to an incident where someone might need help. Most people seeing someone lose their limbs (for instance) might go into shock, but since I am desensitized to this happening, I can react quickly and calmly. Your average person would do very little if something exploded, and there was gore everywhere. People like me (I know of other people who watch them for the same reason) have built up the mental and emotional strength to act in this situations.

In basketball, Anytime a ball handler is able to lose their defender by making them trip up and/or fall because of them not being able to keep up, it's referred to as "breaking their ankles". Just saying, you might have missed out on something funny with the figuratively broken ankles bit. But then again, seeing an actual broken leg would be pretty horrible. Eh, it's 50/50 for a reason, I guess.
