AmyReeper my friend also has tourette’s he’s high all the time, apparently it helps him with it, now that doesn’t mean that it’s right since it’s slowly degrading his brain so it’ll be worse when/if he decides to stop

It can make it difficult when you try to sleep, but, in my experience, ticing in your sleep doesn't happen.

Okay, so I have a question. If I’m talking to somebody with Tourette’s, and the person starts a vocal tic. Do I continue talking, or do I let the person finish the tic?

I want people to keep talking though!
If they are ok with thier tourettes you can add it into the conversation to make it interesting😉
Vocal ticks are also good conversation starters😂

story time quickly: I kind of told my form teacher that there is a channel on Tourette's (because I had a speech on it) and she said "cool" and I said "could i watch it please ?" and she said "yeah sure".so I went and typed in Tourette's teen and played the video then when it started, I started ticcing, I started ticcing like crazy I didn't know why but in the morning I was ticcing like crazy till around 4 pm and still till now I have know Idea of why people with tic disorders see someone else tic they tic back.

I think you should be the ambassador of people with tourettes. I've watched several documentaries about this syndrome, and you're the most confident and comfortable with it. Most people with tourettes have a hard time going out in public because they are shy, so whenever they go out, they tend to control it but it always turns out to be attacking more severely. I admire you for being who you are and embracing it

I still haven't told anyone about these things that I can't control

I recently found out a very close friend of mine has mild tourettes. Hes top of our class (and every class has been in) and is extremely calm/quiet during lessons. When he told me I didn't believe him but then I did because he never lies.
