I'm not a vindictive person, but on behalf of all mining truck drivers, I hope Komatsu outsources all of its engineering to India. It will be a very controlled process with very few variables and Komatsu will see an increase in productivity. I wonder what the Chrome Dome Team say about that.

It will happen, if it hasn’t already.

I'm not a miner but on behalf of the drivers I hope a hacker or a software glitch causes those trucks to dive off a cliff.

They bang on how it’s safer but really it puts a person out of a job and makes big mining companies richer.

Electric Autonomous Cars is for the Elite when they kill off 95% of the world population, so they can live having all their luxuries produced by robots.

there are opportunities for training of the current workforce (upskill). New jobs will be generated. Efficiency on mine operations will allow other projects (which were not feasible in the past) to come in play as well.

@@lucasljs1545 people need to keep learning and advancing and not stick to being a grunt in a produce store or something equivalent when robots can handle things like that. We need to keep advancing too and not be content with bogus jobs nobody really likes anyway.

Hello sir, I am Fathi from Algeria. I used to drive a truck like this in a phosphate mine. I like your video and I hope to be part of this great team. How do you help me sir? By the way, I live in Algeria. Can you help me get a work visa?

Honestly... honestly... I know of a few sites that could use something like this. Low wages, dangerous and grueling conditions all make for some rough staff. Instead of wasting money, paying folks to wreck your equipment and not get any work done, there's now this!
