I haven't gotten to 5 star drops yet, just made it to purple. So my best is still the 5 star I got from the online event that rolled crit dmg, atk% and flat HP
Aside from that, my best is a 4star crit rate ice beetle that I have on Sanhua.
Farming Dreamless for that crit main stat, it has not been going well lol

Well....... I got to end game UL30.... BUT... I waste a bunch of resources on echo.. I really thought we were going to have plenty from farming... Thus, I leveled so many gold echo to +25 that are all trash and only realized my mistake once my resources ran out and search up farming strat.... ;0

+25 isn't necessarily bad. I mean, if it's something you feel like you're gonna keep for awhile, then it's a worthy investment. Pretty much, I boost every 5 levels, if I get a good additional stat, I'll keep going.
I wish there was a echo set feature, for which you could just save and assign sets of echoes to move them around instead of having to manually assign them one by one to characters when swapping them about.
Yeah. Ain't no way I'm going to tediously swap them around manually. I'm a casual endgame player though so whoopty do for me.
They do have this feature in pgr, which is also a game from the same company kuro, so hopefully they will add it soon in future patches.
Another tip prioritize leveling your 4 and 3 cost echoes to 15-20 and leave you 1 cost echoes at 5-10. 1 cost attack% echoes are less valuable because at low levels you have a low base attack and they give a secondary stat of flat hp. 3 and 4 cost echoes elemental damage and crit echoes really boost your damage and have a flat attack secondary stat which is very valuable because again you have a low base attack.
This is both true and false, i agree with leveling the 3 and 4's first but you should also level your 1's due to the tuning
Do the echoes give base atk? As in it's multipled by atk%?

accurate for offense stats, however, i believe much of the community's whining about getting 1 shot by bosses would be alleviated if they actually leveled their 1 cost echos, as they give large amounts of flat HP.

Xp is definetely much bigger of a problem than tuners, i have good amount of tuners and i will not need more for a while, but im out of xp completely.

@@Krutonkreaturait takes full 2 days worth of energy to fully lvl a single echo, considering there is 5 pieces, that would take almost 2 weeks to fully lvl up a set of echo, this will neglect other things to farm like traces materials, character’s ascension materials and weapon upgrade materials too, so this is actually a problem
@@savinito Assuming it isn't resolved in higher world levels. Keep in mind even at union level 30 we are only like half way to max world level. I think it's too soon to say for certain

my tip is level your echo to 5 then tune then if u get a nice stat like crit rate or damage level it to 10 then tune again if u didnot get a nice stat in level 5 then proceed to the next echo.
Still very new and just starting to gear up. But my best piece is: Dreamless main stat crit rate 22% substats: Crit damage 21%, Res Lib dam 8.6%, Atk% 7.1, Res skill dam 8.6%, energy regen 10.8%. From now on I will take your advice and level them to 20 though.

Ur min maxing way too early, just make ur first max 3 dps set, the game give you enough to max 3 in the first week of a new acount.
If you have a synergized party, energy regen substat is very important after element, crit and crit dmg. Without fast energy gain, Jiyan doesn't feel good to play with. Better to quickly build 3 teams than trying to farm echoes all day. Also data bank level 19, the drop rate for gold echoes increases tremendously.
the math for me works like that
level to 10. unlock 2 stats
if no good substast >scrap
if at least one crit substat or 2 usable stats like the type of dmg or attack level to 15
unlock third substat
if no crit stat + 1 useful stat or 3 other usefull stats >scrap
level to 20

I hope they take a look at tuners. Substats are automatic for both HSR and Genshin, and with all the other rng for relics, I hope they lean tuners to be more for substat rerolling
You should create "working sets" of echoes that are +25, and THEN start being frugal about picking which echoes to level. Using your example of +20 > +25 only gives you a 3.6% additional crit, this is a whopping 19% increase over leaving it at +20. Even examining this by looking at the total amount of stats you are working with (to account for substat rolls), let's say you have 50% crit rate, this is still a 7.2% increase. Now take into consideration that you've done this on all 5 of your echoes (as the percentage increase is generally about the same with flat atk scaling the worst), you are missing out on at least 30% worth of stats because you aren't leveling them to +25.
And I'm not saying you should level every echo you get to +25. What I'm saying is, your first "working" set, the set that you will be using for a long time while you are looking for that good one to gamble on, should be +25 so you can farm faster and easier and potentially clear just that one extra floor of tower to get more astrite to pull on characters and weapons you want. Because the amount of exp you spend into +25 a working set will pale in comparison the amount you need to spend to find the "right" piece. So why gimp your characters before that happens?

they must change the echo system making it we can use echo as materials exp for upgrading same as weapons..

If that happen, im sure people gonna exploit dreamless non stop lmao since not only it dont have cooldown that already minimal, you can choose the difficulty so you can just choose lv 40 one since its not that different for the echo it dropped from other lv besides clearing time

Ive only gone to 25 on 6 echoes, the first 5 were a full set for Havoc Rover just to kill things faster, and the 6th is a crit rate Lampylumen Myriad that rolled 10% crit rate on the first roll, 11% energy regen on the second, and 16% crit damage on the third, the other two rolls though were useless

Good point. Though I would say that 4 Cost unit with Crit Rate main stats is still worth the amount of Echo EXP needed imho. The others can stay at level 20 at these stage of the game.
Great vid :) I only leveled echoes enough to advance the.. experience book? thingie? I haven't farmed them too much either.. running around the world and such has been fun and doing the quests.. almost done with them. But I've been leveling my core team, Encore/Sanhua/Verina and they're 60 now with 60 weapons.. finally got Jiyan after 160 pulls /facepalm. But xp for echoes seems to be the biggest complaint with the game so far, so I'm glad I've been stingy with them...

Guys, this is just a game. You don’t need perfection. Just enjoy the game and dodge👌
the echo system really needs to be fixed. they should make it so you can see the substats when you get the echo, but you need to use tuners to unlock the substat.
But before using the echos from the illusive store. Make sure that the echo doesn’t go on 2 types (like for example, an echo can be on the fusion set or glacio set). Because maybe you don’t get the right element on the echo you want. So just keep that in mind

If you don't get good 3 cost pieces with proper elemental damage, just switch to 4,4,1,1,1 setup!
You get two crit pieces instead of one, which is way more valuable than an ATK 3 cost pieces.
And getting a third ATK one on 1 cost is much easier, so you even get better sub stats!
If you farm for Havoc MC, it's so easy to farm Dreamless, but Havoc set have only one boss, so to get 4,4,1,1,1 you need to go hybrid set, which is not ideal, unless you can get superior sub stats..
So you see, it has a lot of moving parts
if you want to aim for echo with Crit.Rate as main stat, i recommend you to farm Dreamless echo. i got at least 4 gold echo with Crit.Rate as main stat. and you don't have to wait until the boss respawn either
You know echos have effects right? Hope you're not putting dreamless on every character just because she's faster to farm...
@@EclipseEagle4 nah, I only put dreamless in havoc character. But if someone really wants to really increase the crit. Rate, then aim for Dreamless. It's easier.
Tunners are more of an issue eventually compared to exp, but feel free to upgrade your dps pieces that look promising, lvl 20 to lvl 25 is defo expensive but on a good piece , theres no harm. If desperately min maxing is the only way ur account can move forward u might aswell quit. Just focus on ur main dps, you can comfortably get 2-3 chars with all lvl 25 pieces when u reach lvl 30. U rly dont need more than ur main dps but maybe have some fun instead of worrying about the smallest optimizations possible. If u rly wanted to min max u wait till u reach lvl 40 to even upgrade a single artif
I realized this a bit too late, the only limiting factor for you to get a godly artifact is not your amount of "good" echo. it were the echo xp material. genshin impact artifact system habit cause me to misread this.
I've already exhausted all possible quick ways to gain echo xp. here list of them
1) gift shop(in the main city)
2) using blue coral
3) tower of adversity point shop
4) tactical hologram point shop
5) elusive realm shop
it were just enough to build two decent main dps. Rover and galcharo
but if I have chance to turn back, it would be a lot better if I invest into lingering tunes artifact, which is universal. since you have soo many character right off the bat in this game. hope this help for anyone reading
I hit auto once and leveled it by accident, thought i was in star rail. Luckily it was a decent piece.
A thing to note, don't scrap echoes just because they roled def% or hp% instead of attack%, if the rest of the stats are good, sooner or later we will end up getting someone that scales with hp or def and you will regret it :P
Honestly to +25 your first golden 4 cost/3 costs (matching dmg type/set) is ideal on your 2 main dps. It's guaranteed dmg boost which enables you to clear more content for mats, so it has good ROI despite losing 20% of the exp once you replace it in the future. Any extra crit rate adds consistency so take it wherever you can get it, and ~10%(4.8*2) dmg bonus is actually a lot. 1 golden costs you can stick to +20 since ATK% is worse overall and you only net ~3% upgrading to +25. F2P you can definitely clear 15/30 hazard zone & diff 4 holograms with just decent echos. I never pulled for Jiyan and saving everything for Yinlin.
The advice is good for late game optimization once min-maxing echos is the only thing left to do just like in Genshin/HSR for artifacts or relics. Just build up your initial gear sets instead of gimping yourself over bad rolls because this process takes a long ass time.

If you do the cost benefit analysis, you'll quickly find there's way better ways to spend your precious echo. Even just rolling a few more 1s for the perfect sub stats, will get you more benefit than dumping it into +25. Chances are the 4th substat won't be great.
@@Google_Censored_Commenter You're going the face the harsh reality that tuners is the main bottle neck not echo exp. Volkon being under 200 in the video is a big mistake. Building a full +20 echo set for a new dps character costs 200 tuners. Yes, you can share sets granted the same dmg type. F2P will not have the luxury to build echo sets for all damage types at this pace. Tacet field runs at union level 30-39 nets only 10 tuners but gives 19k echo exp. That's one roll per 60 stam and to +5 only takes 4.5k exp to fish. You are burning a very scarce resource far too early on. Tuners are a unique aspect for upgrading compare to Genshin/HSR so it cannot be overlooked.
To not +25 your initial gold 4cost/3costs makes no sense. You leave out a lot of guaranteed power on the table for 10 tuners while trying to fish perfect rolls 1 week into the game. 1 cost echos are the main substat sticks since ATK% plus flat hp is honestly worthless compare to the rest. Tuners only refunds 30% while echo exp does it at 75%. You honestly don't lose out much going to +25 the first time.

@@Google_Censored_Commenter That's simply not true. If you get CR/CD rolls after +15, it is already worth maxing it out regardless of 3rd roll. You don't need perfect rolls. If you happen to get it by chance to +25, all the better. My whole point is that perfectionism this early into the game is counterintuitive and will drain your tuners fast. The game doesn't need you to have perfects substats to +25; it is such a sub-optimal way to view resource management based on the probabilities. Echo exp is barely wasted when you are refunded 75% of the amount once you find a better piece later, plus you are making use of it while playing the game. The video is not accounting for half of the equation where tuners are in fact involved, and by far more scarce as a resource. Anyways, to each their own.
that 6.something % crit rate is worth it to get. Getting to past the threshold crit rate on semi end game like ToA rn make a huge diff. if u compare it with or without

so i have this question I've been searching about all over internet , like if we have crit rate main stats and then we get one crit rate sub stats roll , is it possible to get another crit rate roll in substats after getting one?
I have ATK% main stat echo on ATK effect (lingering tune) for Jianxin but it also got an ATK% substat so it's might be possible
Is the scrapping system the same for weapons? Like would I get my weapon acension materials and exp modules back if I use it to level up another weapon?

Yeah this could be a better way tbh, you can gamble those tuners away since we wont need it for late game. But the problem is the drop rate of purple echoes I mean for people who are ahead atleast. If youre still starting out, i think this could be one way.
Could be, but you’ll lose 25% xp when you reinvest it. Also, there may be opportunities to upgrade the blue and purple tuners to gold ones soon.

I wouldn't worry, surely Tacet fields will give more rewards with higher SOL3 phase while Echoes aren't going higher than gold and level 25 cap, it'll balance out

wait so do you not want your secondary echos to have crit rate or crit damage only the main echo, or can 3points/1point echoes not have that as a main stat? why focus on attack rather than crit rate or crit damage for them or is it just harder to get? im just curious so i dont make any mistakes
It's crit rate, not crit damage, and crit rate is the only stat we don't need to go cheap for in my eyes, as long as the other substats raise attack.
If you are only going to 15 or 20, this means you also dont need to use any gold echos, you could use purple and have the exact same stats. fyi.
Hi, does Echo type e.g. Feirilian BEngal vs Boar matters? although boar rolls better stat & % ? im talking about the ECHO itself, is it only the Echo skills matters (when transforming)

I think they should just remove tunners and just let the stats show when you level the echos that will make it better and also let you use purple echos as fodder.

@volkingacha good video but id add to your video cost 1 should not use gold , always get purple , and try the god rolls. they require less xp to level up and uses purple tuners that we have so few of and save you from burning the gold ones too fast and save you echo xp!

Honestly just use all those "useless" purple tuners and bring your purple echoes up to level 20. You can feed those to your gold echoes later on when you finally have some goodo ones. This is only week two of the game and no one is even mad union level yet. Lacking resources is to be expected.
Could someone help me understand what exactly the attack % substat increases? Does it increase everything, only the character's base stat, or also the weapon, or does it even increase another attack flat substat as well? Also does in roverr's dark surge state, does basic or heavy attack % substat increase her damage as well? Thanks guys.
Well it's completely different from genshin artifact leveling up and star rail relic despite star rail relic having the planar as an extra addition
This feels like totally rng that relies on true luck as well but I guess there is also the strongbox feature as well...

Genshin is way worse, HSR is still bad, but not as bad as Genshin
At least you can consume the echo and get those tuners refunded

If it has a good roll then u should, i have 3 echoes with crit rate stats lv 25 and it gives me 66% crit rates. Combined with other sub stats it goes up to 78% with food my attack is basically always crit, now to enhance that pair with crt dmg weapon or atk and you are done
i use 3 4 stars to save resource crit carries all dont need the 5 set bonus
•Tacet fields! For fuck sakes just farm tacet fields
•after you’ve dumped resource into a gold piece and it’s better than your old one set swap it. Take the swapped set and use it a free exp to feed to new pieces when farming!
•Repeat that process until you get a good set for your next character and repeat the process indefinitely until ALL your resonators are fulfilled!
Not only do you get echos from tacet fields but you also get exp for both your union level and for enhancing and tuning more echos.
ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE
The amount of waveplates you use for that is ridiculous. You wont be progressing your characters effectively that way.
@@kSazu. 60 wave plates like literally everything else in the game except for character mats iirc which is 40. Feeding old echo nets you about 90% of there is exp used, combined with farming echoes as well of whatever desires you want, you also get what looks like 1-2 gold sealed tubes and 7-9(maybe 10) purple sealed tubes per completion which is about 30k exp.
Remember you’re not using all your tubes at once your replying old ones, while you build your new ones. Not only that but you also get union exp. You’re indeed ARE efficiently farming for exp and other resources.
I have a full Lv25 Echoes with good sub stats….my Calcharo nukes everything 😂
Might be a hot take but having the perfect echo isn't a must. This isn't a guide for upgrading but for optimizing which the majority of players truly do not care about.

Wait, how are you getting all the additional information on the Echo Skill? I've been looking long and hard for that, and I haven't been able to enable that information?
Never mind. I found it. It's the bar next to "Outline" in the upper right which toggles on/off the additional information. I clicked on the ! sign next to it and look all around in settings for this information :p..... That's pretty bad UI, and Outline is a bad translation....

Ok, so Feilian CAN spawn with Crit rate...been farming the crap outta him, and I'm getting everything but.
That mf just doesnt want to. I farmed him close to 80 times.Only 2 crit rate pieces.On the other hand,i boss rushed every single boss in game and got crit rate main stat for every single one,on the first time fighting.Except for mech boss cuz apparently he wants to feel a bit special

I hate all the sharing and swapping. I mean it's nice that you can do that ofc, but it feels like micromanagement and it doesnt feel great.
