I remember when back in 1979 I told my pastor that I felt sure I was going to see when Jesus comes for us. And I won’t forget that he told me everything in the book of Revelation was only symbolic. That’s when I left the Lutheran Church. And I still believe that I will be alive when the rapture happens. Jesus Christ is coming soon for us. God our Father will make this happen because God is always in control. God bless you all and your loved ones.

Yes, we want to be redeemed at the rapture; but are we fulfilling the Great Commission? Are we lying around begging Jesus to come; yet, we're neglecting to help others to climb into the ark of salvation? The Lord tells us to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. Yes, we look forward to being raptured; but we should be able to still have peace no matter what happens on the earth:
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid. (John 14:27)
The Lord tells us that we must endure many hardships to enter the kingdom of heaven:
"...strengthen the souls of the disciples and encourage them to continue in the faith. "We must endure many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," (Acts 14:22)

When the disciples were with Yeshua they had money, how did they get that money? Through people that donated to them? Because they didn't work due to the traveling they did spreading the word. Right? It’s interesting how the imminent return of Jesus Christ is a central doctrine to the Christian church, however, when I was a Catholic I never once heard anything about it.... sad....
I was born and raised Catholic and went to their schools: I never once heard about the return of Jesus either. In fact, we were forced to worship the statue of Mary. The book of Revelation is off limits to Catholics, and they avoid most of God's Word. Catholics never hear "You must be born again". I pray they open their ears to God's truth
My uncle a preacher and missionary for 50 years or so, he was probably the wisest person I’ve ever known. (One of very few at least). I was shocked to hear last September he’d never studied eschatology or the rapture. I was truly amazed. I was so glad we got to talk about it and I shared my views on it and he even watched/listened to Amir and found it very interesting. He passed away in December. He knows it all now 😊 and I’m glad to know I’ll be seeing him soon! Him, my mother, grandmother... i wonder at and imagine all the generations before them that played a part in my faith. I especially look forward to seeing Jesus in FULL Truth without the effect of devils lies. It will be so good to be rid of him, I can’t wait! Sorry to go on... these are such amazing times, we’re right on the edge of eternity!

Same here... I was an altar boy for 10 years, up on the altar holding the Bible for the priest to read. I was Roman Catholic for 21 years, until I was born again through a Catholic charismatic renewal, which swept through in the 80’s. Shortly after, I started to learn the Word Of God, left (1988), and haven’t returned.
We cannot come back with Him, unless we are With Him before He return. so His army most be gathered to Himself .

I was born and raised Catholic. Some of my family members call me religion "your religion" just because I believe in the rapture it is my religion it hurts how some people are ignorant. They just want to remain how they were raised.

I can only hope that when "The Blessed Hope" comes to pass that maybe they'll remember the things I use to speak to them about from The Word of God and at last believe. It'll will be a terrible time but even then The Lord will still save those who hold fast to HIS name and refuse to worship "the beast or take his mark. YET, I still pray they believe before that terrible time coming on this world.

I was amazed to find out we that believe in the rapture are a minority. People just can’t see the truth!
Dawna Sharp I have a dear friend, a very strong Christian, (70+ years old) who suddenly, a few months ago, completely changed her mind, saying there is no tribulation, that we are going to go through the tribulation and later meet him in the sky (as they met Him coming into Jerusalem) and welcome Him to earth. She points to all the same scripture passages to explain her point. She was a mentor to me for years so I give her leeway but I can’t see it like she does. I also know that there are a lot of very solid Christians who differ in their opinions about the tribulation. I personally lean heavily toward the pre-trib point of view but I leave room to be wrong. We should not underestimate the fact that MANY will fall away... it could be that many are expecting to be rapture OUT of here and will be completely dismayed if they are wrong, to the point of turning from the faith.i don’t know. I believe that we are His bride and that He will take us Home. Considering everything I have learned, it doesn’t make sense to me that we’d be here for the tribulation. Her answer to that has never been clear to me. But I know her faith, it’s solid... but her view on this, It doesn’t make sense.

@@emmabrodiebear663 You mite check out , (GODS kingdom ministries) He talks about 2 resurrections you can read his books for free or print for free but he ask you not to resell them. his name is DR Stephen E,Jones very learnt in original writings (not every christian well be raptured at the first resurrection some will have to wait for the second.(Great white throne judgment) rev chapter 20. is a clue to this. Roxanne Tomlin, there’s 5 without oil according to the scriptures, and Jesus tells them He doesn’t know them when they knock on the door to be let in. God provided His written Word to us to study so we would know the signs preceding the coming of Jesus for His church, so we will always be prepared, & it’s how we spend time building a relationship with Christ and knowing the nature of the true Christ so we won’t accept a false Christ. It’s not possible to truly know Jesus without reading the Bible, and if we don’t know Him, the TRUE CHRIST OF THE BIBLE, He surely doesn’t know us. The vast majority of confessing Christians never even bother to read God’s Word because things of the world are more important to them. When Jesus came the 1st time, the Jews should have recognized their Messiah because they had the scriptures telling them what to look for regarding His coming, but they didn’t recognize Him. Jesus rebuked them for not recognizing the signs of His coming foretold by the prophets, and called them hypocrites who can look at the sky and discern the weather, but they couldn’t discern the signs of the arrival of their Messiah, Matthew 16: 1-3. Because they didn’t know the scriptures, they were broken off and left in unbelief which damned them to Hell. That’s why Jesus started speaking in parables, so they couldn’t understand Him. Therefore, because God clearly gave us the signs in His written Word of the return of Jesus for His church and the start of the Tribulation, God is going to hold believers accountable for knowing what the scriptures say. He’s not going to alter His time schedule and postpone the rapture because the majority of those people who say they believe in Jesus refuse to open the Bible and read it, and therefore they are not prepared because Jesus Christ just wasn’t a high enough priority in their life for them to spend time studying the scriptures, as God tells us to do in 2 Timothy 2: 15. If God postponed the rapture because many believers ignored reading the scriptures and are not prepared, the rapture would never come because there’s always going to be those who only honor Jesus Christ with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him.
So at the appointed time Jesus is returning. He’s not going to make those believers who do love Him with all their mind, heart, and soul, wait longer. Those who love Him spent time with Him by studying the scriptures. We fellowship with Jesus when we read the Bible, because He speaks to us through His written Word, and that’s how we know His voice. Do you know what a treasure Jesus gave us when He gave us the end from the beginning in the scriptures? And yet I’d estimate 80% of believers never open the Bible to read it, because they’d rather be spoon fed the scriptures, and they don’t know what a blessing they’re missing out on. So Jesus will take those who are prepared and watching for Him as He told us to be in the Bible, and those who ignored reading His Word will be caught without oil, and unprepared. Most of them are no different than nonbelievers, saying that every generation has said Jesus was returning soon but He never does, therefore scoffing at us who try to warn them that the scriptures pertaining to His return are being fulfilled. So if so-called believers who never read the Bible are scoffers, what does that say to nonbelievers? How does someone profess to believe in the Word of God made flesh, when they don’t even know the Word of God in the Bible because they won’t read it? That’s why you’ve got over a billion Catholics believing in a false Christ whose blood can’t erase their sins, so they will pay for their sins in purgatory, because they don’t read the KJV Bible and just believe what the church leaders feed them without searching the scriptures to see if it’s true. The same goes for many others who are believing in a false Christ because they don’t love God’s truth enough to read it. “Sanctify them through Thy truth, Thy Word is truth”, John 17: 7. And because they loved not the truth, God sends a strong delusion that they might believe the lie and be damned, 2 Thessalonians 2, paraphrased. The only thing God puts above Himself IS HIS WORD, and woe to them who do not love the truth of His Word.

Sadly I am not shocked to see the amount of people looking to governments to fix everything. Some are seriously angry that their goverments have no answer to a microscopic virus that can kill with impunity. It truly is a wonderful time to share the gospel with a world full of frightened people, and I started with my unbelieving neighbor who actually seemed to listen this time.

Wow, that is so symbolic. I pray we're close to rapture. I believe we're in late stage of birth pains. As birth pains become more frequent, birth is imminent. In Biblical context, us believers are the baby soon be delivered unto our Lord awaiting to receive us into his hands like a doctor would receive the baby from his/her mother.
Yes, in the Rapture the dead will rise first, then those of us still alive will follow them, in a blink of an eye. And we will meet Him in the air. Later, He returns with His saints on a white horse and He will have a new name.

I’m not sure where Jesus told us that He was coming back to us but I can say with confidence that Paul said by the word of our Lord: “We who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have died.” (1 Thes 4:15)
I also know that “we” are those who Paul was speaking to because he said it came from the Lord. So where did Jesus say this?
Mat 16:27 The Son of Man is going to come with his angels in his Father's glory, and then he will repay everyone according to what he has done.
Mat 16:28 I tell you with certainty, some people STANDING HERE will not experience death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."

As a very new Christian I’m so thankful that my neighbour and friend has shown me the simple (not so simple in its volume) biblical fundamentals - The bible is what it says and says what it is so to speak. Wow 🌈I feel so touched to be in the family of God but have difficulty with possibly leaving my family behind and I pray for that every day now.
