Nailed it. That should be the main goal. Winning sec championship gives you most legitimate shot at national championship and that’s why it irritates me when guys like Josh pate say this format weakens importance of conference championship games. It does the opposite it makes them way more important
That's right, people that are uncomfortable with change only look at the changes they think will be negative and struggle to see the potential benefits that come with change.
Winning at Tuscaloosa could have a giant impact on the SEC, not suggesting it will happen,, or that it won't. Even so Mizzou could find itself in another 13-14 scenario of backing into Atlanta. Hopefully we get to see Reichert and a whole lot of other of the young guys in what should be a non-con of a lot of mop up minutes.
Our run game will keep us from winning a championship game of any kind this year. Drink doesn't recruit running backs with the size and talent needed to win championship games. Drink gives one running back far too many carries leading the team to more 3 and outs and less touchdowns in the red zone. Drink will give Nate Noel 195 lb running back most of the carries, and that will cause us to lose at least two games on the regular schedule.
from what I've heard we have 3 backs that will make up the carries; Carrol, Roberts, Noel. Carrol by himself is plenty big enough, +210lbs and Roberts/Noel sitting around 200 lbs isnt that small either
I just want those 2013-14 helmets and pants back. Both of those were just so good, especially the power tiger logo.
100%
The 2015-17 uniforms were fire too.. the white out during BYU game specifically need to be brought back.
Mizzoui is my pick for SEC dark horse John #Rolltide
The Mizzou focus rightly is on one game at a time. The goal is to win TODAY'S GAME.
Yep
Fortunately, I am not on the team.
I agree, you don't want to leave the fight in the hands of the judges. Winning the SEC = Knockout. That should always be the goal.
If you win SECC you are guaranteed a spot in CFP.
The coin flip scenario is still a minimum 2 hours event on ESPN

You win the SEC you are likely the number 1 seed but at worst top 4 with a bye.
After we drag OU 2 yrs in a row hell enter portal

I’ve been saying this for MONTHS! Beat Georgia or Texas in the SEC championship and this season will be a success!

3 RB1's in 4 years;
All of them have gone to the NFL.
Sounds like they're big enough
