Grandmaster Shu-Jin Wang is an internal martial artist in Xingyi, Tai Chi and Baguazhang. In the 60s, at the invitation of Japan, he was sent by the Chinese MA Association in Taiwan, the Republic of China, to teach Kung Fu in Japan. Soon after his arrival, he received numerous challenges from Japanese MA experts in Karate, Judo, Akido and kickboxing who all looked down upon Chinese martial arts, but each of these challengers was defeated by Wang in a matter of just few seconds and couldn't get back on their feet. Wang is actually the father of Chinese internal martial arts in Japan.

According to my teacher, who was a star student of Wang's. Wang loved sweets and died of pancreatic cancer. He was undefeated as a martial artist.

I am more than grateful ... I feel blessed to even witness this great soul expressing the Tao with every movement that he makes.
Can someone please tell me if there are any instructors of this lineage in NYC?

You can train in arts that promote good health but still have a poor diet.
Yang Cheng Fu (Yang style Tai chi founder), had a notorious over eating problem, that probably cost him his life. He didn't live long, but did tai chi 6+ hours a day! He should've lived to 110 at that rate.

Bruce Lee died at 32 though he was a training and health fanatic without an ounce of fat on his body. He was proud that the doctor told him, just weeks before he died, that he had "the body of an 18 year old." He made it sound like a compliment. And it might have been if Bruce had been 60 or 70, but a man of 32 should have much better physique than one of 18. Bruce's fanaticism killed him. So... low fat does not necessarily mean perfection or good health.

Wow! Great vid! It is interesting to see Wang Shujin doing "classical" Hsing-I chuan. I saw another vid of his student doing a slightly different version of Hsing-I,with bagua like qualities. Anyone know about this?

If u beat lots of ppl when ur young, u'll get lots of students. Then you can afford to eat a lot. A thin martial artist is a poor one with no students :).

Nice video, not great. Just it is a wang Su Chin. And he was the greatest kung-fu man in the 20th century. But the music is very bad.Sick, like from a mental institute.
Turn it off!! Its a disgrace to his memory. I want to vomit.
