This is the story it shows me directly after the story about dozens of recent missileers getting cancer from working in the missile silos. Think I might pass on this bed-and-breakfast lol.

It's long term exposure! A night or three would be fine

@@alexpfilbert Technically, long-term exposure just greatly increases your odds. Cancer, causing carcinogens, and radiation are rolls of the dice. It only takes Damaging and mutating one cell, for that cell to go out of control and become cancer.
That could happen your first x-ray. Odds are it won’t, but those are odds, not certainties. With enough exposure those odds go from minuscule, into higher ranges of probability, into near certainty.
But why would you risk increasing your odds at all when you can avoid it? I don’t ask for extra X-rays at the doctor and I don’t think I would expose myself intentionally to someplace I know has historically caused lots of cancer. Not for one night or 100.
Then again, odds are you are right and you could stay there a few nights and probably have no problem. You could also swim in a reactor cooling pool and probably never get cancer, but I probably wouldn’t do that either…Even if it was offered to me inside a really nice bed-and-breakfast. Cheers mate
