You did well to do 3 weeks for 1700 we did a week and a half for 1450 but we did splash out on various things which made us more expensive.
That wasn't including food that was just travel so ferry, tolls, fuel, site fees. Food etc was on top. This year it's quite a bit more but then didn't spend 3K on keeping Caravan up and running. I do miss it mind you.
Do we need to have a separate insurance for our caravan?
What actual documents do they check regarding your car and caravan in the port mate?
You don't have to have separate insurance for the caravan but I always do. If you accidentally catch something or someone damages it but doesn't let you know. They just look at passports and booking. If get pulled by police they will want your licence, V5, and insurance for car. Often where you are staying at times.
Crikey.. You must have had plenty of vouchers for the EuroTunnel as we’re going for 2 and 1/2 weeks and the price is £760 return 😂😂
Wow that is a lot. We only used them one way just into France. Got Ferry on way back. Think we might have had a 180 pound voucher perhaps. I can't remember.
