Just gorgeous!! There is a place for Velcro in crafting but it is not as neat as magnets {{ although I personally love the tearing noise as they come apart -- small things amuse small minds :-) :-) }}. The good thing about these tiny box shapes is the one sweet that they take. You can concentrate on the box prettiness without worrying about the extra expense of many chocolates :-).
Why did you use the paper cutter to score the paper and not the usual scoring thingy? Also, why use the scoring thingy at all, when you have the paper cutter scorer? I guess I’m asking paper cutter scorer vs. Regular scoring board? What’s the difference please?
Hi Christina! Personal preference really. I prefer the Simply Scored as my score lines are more consistent and accurate than the Paper Trimmer. But if I need to score at increments smaller than 1/8", then I need to use the Paper Trimmer. This video is from a couple of years ago, so not sure why I used the Paper Trimmer?
Cute box. I created a mini explosion box for Ferreo Rocher Choc using your measurements u created for your Winged - Lid Valentine Box. Super cute... The lil boys n girls r going to love them.. Thank u
Hello hunny, I was wondering if you were going to make a few videos about the process of putting a junk joirnal together using the January Junk Kit from Jessica Hoffmann's. Thank you soo much!!!
I made one that is 4x4x4.... I used a 12" squared piece as my base, scoring at 4" on all 4 sides. The wings were 8 squared scored at 4". Follow the directions in the video.
I actually have asked this question from several demonstrators. I love the Tombow glue, but it's almost impossible to get off my fingers during projects, including stopping to use soap and water. I thought there was some secret all of you had and I just hadn't caught on yet! LOL I've tried baby wipes and ink removing wipes, but they don't work. I think they should come up with something that we can wipe our finger tips on quickly to remove the excess...I'll write to them! Thanks for the response and I love your videos. I think what makes them great is not only do you explain well, but you use visuals too. Thank you!
That is the cutest little box. Thanks for sharing and your instructions on this tutorial are so easy to follow ❤.
Thank you, Gloria! This is such a fun box to create!
Gorgeous. ❤

I think you may have the wrong Paper Pixie? I think there might be a different Paper Pixie who creates junk journals...
Love the box! But I don't like the slight diagonal gap at the top. I will change the wings measurements slightly and see how it goes.
Thank you! You can also close the top with a ribbon by punching a hole on either side - that will close the gap ❤️
I love to know if it measures a lil bigger size boxes please I love it thank you happy Valentine’s Day to you
Thank you so much, Christine! I haven't made this in a larger size, but will consider it!

How do you keep the glue from your fingers sticking on everything!LOL
LOL, Debra! The magic of video ;). I err on the side of less is more, because it doesn't take much!
