Feeling a bit melancholy today so jammed out this piece on the new modular rig. All analogue, self-generating, interacting sequences based on simple mathematics and 5-limit just intonation.
Hah, see what ya did there with the AJH's. Poor Voyager ;) Ace as ever, only wish it lasted a few hours longer - throw up some big long jams!!
Hahaha as soon as I saw this was uploaded I thought Mylars gonna be excited :)
Thanks mate, yeah the AJHs sound amazing, dare I say it better than the Voyager, and the whole rig is now 8Kg lighter for flying.

amazing as always. may I ask how you travel with these cases? don't they get damaged in check in ?
thanks man, no they are flightcases and they go inside thick foam padded outer soft cases
@@suzybeeMINDTOURS awesome I recently got a big flight case and moved all my modules into it , and was really worried about traveling with it as people in the airports treat luggages very aggressively.
@@mamadmadcap yes thats why I put them in outer cases. They are effectively big 60mm flightcase-foam boxes covered in the material that convertible car roofs are made from, which is super tough and totally waterproof. The other issue you have to watch out for is the baggage handlers leaving your cases out in the rain, it happened to an artist friend of mine a few weeks ago, and all his kit was completely ruined, the cases were full of water.
@@suzybeeMINDTOURS Thanks for explaining it in detail , I will look into the material and see what we have here in Australia. Oh no its horrible loosing your gear like that. I once had to put my travel case into the carry on , when It came back 3 modules were broken and 3 of the faceplates were bent on were the screw hole is. it was a disaster.

WOW you never fail to impress with this super jazzy modular sound, I’d love to hear a whole album of your work, I think this is way overdue! Btw, what is the hi hat module you use? It’s clean and I haven’t heard a hi hat that cuts nicely like that yet in euro

The Hi-hat module is an Analogue Systems HH88 - 808 replica, put through a Doepfer A136 Waveshaper module. Unfortunately they have been out of production for a long time. They are easily the best HH module for me, Ive tried other things and they just dont have the edge.. I'd be lost without it..

Unfortunately I don’t own a record player, I think I realised this before as well because I’d heard cynnal, Codi and saith and tried to find them. I’m not surprised, I haven’t heard anything like that apart from your music. Hopefully when you do release a new album you’ll release digital versions too :)
