The fact this wasn’t like 3 hours long was a crime.
I rediscovered Russell when I came across his “Lovely” album back in 2019. That’s when I was seeing elements of his now singing era and I was super into it.
2019 for me was one of the worse years of my life and his music was a huge help for me personally. I’ve been a really loyal deep fan since. That’s when I started going back to his older stuff like the “Carnival” and “Loverboy” album, STRAIGHT bangers.
Russell’s journey has been a wild ride and I’m super proud of the growth of the last few years. He deserves more attention and anytime I’m in the car with someone and I’m playing his music they are ALWAYS asking what the song is or who’s the artist. The potential is sky high!
Ps. Russell if you’re reading this PLEASE put the “I love U don’t worry” “Are U There” and “Richvale Summer 2” back on streaming! I read somewhere that the albums were made during your worse times so ultimately if you don’t want that in public anymore I respect it but those songs meant a lot to me
It's truly a disservice to the artist (RUSSELL!) when you ask him to re-catolog some of his old music, despite the fact that you know he's in a new era from before. A lot of people don't understand he's never going to reupload old music lol
@@vash1000 it’s also a shame to the fans before his R&b time. “I Don’t Belong Here” was his darkest moments as a rapper but that resonated with a niche group of individuals, but as someone who experienced the same emotions, I’ve always felt like I Don’t Belong Here, Plan A, Richvale Summer 1 were the strongest he’s sounded as a rapper, same with I Love U, Don’t Worry. Boy Lonely went crazy but that was the last rap project he’d ever make for a reason.
Dude went full R&B & he’s blowing up AGAIN. But the new fans and the old fans are very different, and it’s a lost opportunity that he didn’t bridge the gap, cuz at one point, he cornered both sounds extremely well.
@@smackddd3339I feel you, but it is what it is. No matter how hard the fans are going to ask for his old stuff, he's not going to do it, so it's just better to accept it. And the older fans shouldn't take it personal, because Russell deleting his old stuff was something he needed to do as part of the process to reinvent himself. I was familiar with D-Pryde from the beginning, but I always thought his music was whack. I became a total fan after he reinvented his sound. Idk about you guys, but I personally would rather hear him sing about girls asses like on "FMU", or get super vulnerable like on "R U UP". The quality is just way better now. He kinda sounded goofy before, lyrics aside. Trying to rap all fast and shit 😂 just my opinion

@vash1000 You never know, I'm pretty sure I've seen him delete stuff and then reupload it on the "pryde" spotify account before.
As a long time fan of his, I don't think it would be an issue if he deleted his old stuff one time and then moved forward, it's that he's deleted stuff like 4 times lol. He'll start a new era and then delete the stuff from the last era. Wouldn't even be surprised if the new album gets deleted in a few years.
He even got the "Russell" album tracklist tatted on his leg a few years ago and then deleted that lol

I discovered Russel on David So and a viral verse he sang. This dood is so gifted and talented. Everytime he pops in my playlist ppl always ask me "who this?" & i proudly tell him his a Canadian artist from toronto.
I was always a fan of Russell ever since I was a teenager. I remember having his music on my phone and just playing it whenever I would ride my bike around my city. This guy definitely had some influence on me growing up.

My wife and I got that Sinus Infection! My friend, who probably gave it to me, said it was bronchitis, but I don't know 100%. I had the teeth sensitivity too! I thought it was just my teeth going bad. But a couple days later, I had real bad back ache. I went to the chiro and massage, but it still hurt. I realized I was still lingering sick. I had the mucus that was stuck, even though I blew out a ton of it. It was like my body is creating this mucus for a reason.
Had to click into this, last time I remember seeing Tim and him in the same room was that freestyle session in the lobby of some event.

I love this ep! I havent been caught up with D-pryde in a min. Yes he did seem very angry and depressed for awhile. Im glad he cleared the air that he is doing better and that was just a phase he was going through. Hope you keep chasing and getting it!
