Ross was in "burn the house down" mode during the letter arc. Every insult towards Rachel was pure fire.
And well deserved too.

Hmmm what about the time Ross lied about finishing the letter when he didn’t, his jealousy over most of her relationships, and oh that’s right, cheating on Rachel with the copyplace girl. Even though they were on a break, it’s still wrong.
In his defence it was 530 in the morning which Rachel not only show any remorse but still continue to make him read it at that time. It's pretty clear she said he can come back up to her room once he's done meaning she still expect him to read it at that time

Rachel should have thought twice when Ross suggested she should call Chip, especially when they are not on good terms. She fell for his trap thinking she’d had a chance to hurt him and it backfired 😆

this reminds me of the whole ‘who came onto who’ debate where ross wanted to spare rachel the embarrassment, but when she wanted to really hurt him he was like okay you can embarrass yourself. you can always take the high road but rachel deserved to be taken down a peg like that and ross’ pettiness is hilarious.

I don't think he was being sarcastic, he was genuinely excited for Monica but in a playful way, like the fake excitement of a high school girl, but still genuinely excited, especially since they were both outcasts in HS.

It's really all Rachel's fault. She acted all high and mighty in front of Ross when Ross was about to tell her that the call was for Monica. Then he feels like she's bragging and being a jerk so he tells her that it indeed was for her. If she hadn't acted that way she would have been informed that it was for Monica from the start.
Rachel deserved everything she got here. She could've stopped at any point, but instead made the decision to dig herself a deeper hole every single time she could've left things alone.
That's what one gets for being petty.

Well, rachel is quite annoying so i can't blame him, and he tried to warn her but she kept pushing, it's like the scene with the video tape that he wanted to destroy the tape to avoid making her embarrassed and yet again she pushed him.
It was like at first when he said: Well actually….You can imagine Ross was thinking let me be civil and tell her the truth, then when Rachel starts acting a little too cocky then Ross just decides ok forget being nice, let’s just destroy her whole career😂😂😂😈😈😈

Rachel deserved to be embarrassed like that. She was completely in the wrong with the Bonnie and the letter situation. She was a total green-eyed monster, did everything to sabotage Ross' relationship with Bonnie, and waited until after he chose her and broke up with Bonnie to give him that letter. Granted, their previous breakup was 95% Ross' fault, but ruining his happy relationship with Bonnie and then giving him a list of demands was just underhanded and wrong.

Having Mark at her apartment right after the breakup and talking to Ross with Mark present was a horrible move by Rachel which she refused to take any responsibility for. Although Ross with his jealousy was primary cause and his inability to value her job was terrible Ross was right about Mark wanting to steal her away. Without Marks presence during that call Ross would not have slept with copy girl.
