- You don't need expensive tools, but I do recommend a scale, immersion blender, #5 polypropylene bowls (or stainless steel pots), a silicone spatula, safety goggles and gloves to start. You can buy a mold or make one out of something laying around, I talk about that at the end!

Hi. Can this recipe be divided as I only have a small loaf mould ? Really eager to give this recipe a try. 💕
Can i also use sweet almond oil instead of Palm oil ?
You can definitely change the recipe or make it smaller, but you'll need to run it through a soap calculator again to get the right sodium hydroxide amount. I like soapcalc.net Happy soaping!

When using decoration on top like glitter or dry flowers, try to cut the soap from the side that helps not to have those lines when cutting
Yes, usually. I didn't bother with this one, and I don't mind the minimal drag marks on the soaps. 💜
Any glitter will work and does the same goes for the cake sprinlkes
For environmental reasons I use plant based biodegradable eco glitters from soap suppliers. I choose not to use sugar in my bath products.
Where I can find that glitter?
The fine spray glitter is called white diamonds, and I buy it at Windy Point Soaps in Canada. The other one is Moon Glitter which is out of the UK but you can find them on Amazon as well, and the ingredient list is available on their website. Happy soaping! 💜
How much do you sell these soaps for, usually?
Gemstone soaps are $9 for 130 gram bars with a gemstone on top. Regular 130 gram bars are $8 and 150 gram bars $9. 💜
