If I were to name one reason why In Space was a great ending to the Zordon era, the Psycho Rangers could be one of them. The Psychos are the best team of evil rangers ever!
I was thinking the same good reason, I mean they weren't just the most evil rangers ever, they were also the most powerful!
And they raised the stakes

This brings back memories. I remember they used to air both Power Rangers and Super Sentai in my country, there were Time Force on sunday and Megaranger on weekdays. Power Rangers aired on weekdays originally until Lightspeed Rescue.

The Nejiranger/Psycho rangers are my favorite evil ranger team to date. Though the Flower Kunoichi team from Kakurangers were also a good evil ranger team. These guys were so obsessed with killing the colors of their human counterparts they came back from death itself just to hunt them down. Hardcore villains.

I still never understood why there wasn't a "proper" NejiSilver. Instead MegaSilver/Zhane simply dressed up as him to throw the evil team off. I wonder if Megaranger had budget issues and only afford to make five Nejiranger suits...

+Dustin Lehman (NCX) Super Sentai is actually built mostly for kids. US and Japan TV have different standards for what can be shown on TV for kids.

Yup. In Japan, they're called Super Sentai. For the American Power Rangers, they use a combination of original footage and footage recycled from the Japanese version.

@@blakechildress944 since my comments a year old here's a quick update all of the psycho Rangers except for the green one was released together in a pack in a virtual Comic-Con exclusive and the green one it's an online exclusive but I'm not sure for which website. But the blue and red ones are still fairly easy to get

I am gonna vote for the sentai, because I think the sentai did the same thing as the original did
Both have their good moments given the fact that they work around with different television standards each to what and how much they can show on a kids show which both are. No offense PR, but I almost always go with Sentai not only because it's the original or the fact that they have a tv standard where they show blood, people killed, usage of alcohol or sometimes sexual jokes, but because mostly they go with the flow and even for the dark and serious seasons they don't mind having some lighthearted and goofy episodes and the episode's goofy plots and around the motives and main plots they are more detailed so that most of the whole plot makes sense without strange plot holes.
As an example with Power Rangers in Space fighting Psycho Rangers here. One senseless thing about the Psycho Rangers arc is, if you think about it Astronema and the other main evils do know the Space Rangers identities so why would the Psycho Rangers bother and look for the rangers secret identities via their voices? I know they translated the plot of the Sentai Episode mostly, but it wouldn't make much sense with In Space in this case.

It can go without saying that both version of this evil ranger team are a very determined bunch
I would say In Space is superior but do note that waaay into the series,the Rangers have become overtaxed and stressed up till this point and they've been so caught up with battling the Alliance of Evil,it made them too cautious and sink into a stressful infinite loop called battle which will lead up to the Psycho Rangers while the Megarangers feel like everything's gonna be alright. Not a care in the world kinda like MMPR which is what Megarangers is. Teens with attitude. Tho I don't like the dialogue in Megaranger version. :/
Also,the Nejirangers sound waaaay too normal for psychos and made them more human and feel like their on a contract to kill someone like an assassin. The Psycho Rangers were in a sense..no-nonsense wanna kill,ask questions never kinda guys.

The power rangers are darker than the megarangers. But the megarangers fight scenes are better. The power rangers Try to come close to the fight scenes as they can but it still a little different.
Seriously sentais are darker and are better in my opinion I haven’t seen any power rangers adaptations expect mmpr and hated the pilot episode when i was 9 in 1993 saw it on vhs recorded it on fox kids at the time 😊
This is where good story comes into play because the Rangers could NOT beat them hand 2 hand. They really had to use their heads Nd most importantly “teamwork” cause even still with the Psychos fighting eachother, they were STILL whoopin the Rangers, which shows how Powerful they really were.

They were also shot in 60fps so I highly doubt it was the same kind of tape (or if they filmed it digitally IDK) used to film sentai, considering the early 2000 sentai shows still have that older look.

I started with Gokaiger since especially when it was a tribute season to previous sentai and was more or less better than Super Megaforce despite the Japanese cheesiness. I also did eventually get into another Japanese toku superhero franchise(Kamen Rider).
