    What an awesome money saver...not to mention a great way to make custom colors. I would just make sure that if I was making a large quantity of items to mix enough powder for all of them at one time, otherwise it might be hard to match the color exactly when making more. Thank you so much for sharing.

    This is super cool! I wanted some pink or red embossing powder for a Valentine card I want to make. So as I have had to be off work for two weeks and I can not justify spending any money at the moment I am now super excited to give this a go. I have refills for my Copicc markers and I am sure that should work too as that is alcohol ink. Thanks for sharing. Hugs Lisa G

    Very interesting ! Not sure where I will get mica powders here in Portugal, but will definitely have a good search for some in the shops and online ! I do have to say that as a Brit I am so SO jealous of you all with the Dollar Tree etc ... you seem to be able to buy so many cheap yet wonderfully useful items like sprays, bottles, jars, tubs etc etc. I really wish we had shops like that here in Portugal!

      I just tried it with some sparkle embossing powder that I bought a while ago, and didn't really like cuz I was looking for clear and there wasn't any. and this sparkle powder didn't show up very well and I wasn't crazy about it. But I mixed it with some eye shadow I scraped up and it looks awesome! Plus I put quite a bit of eye shadow in it so it kinda doubled my amount of embossing powder. kool! thanx so much for your video! xoxoxo

    Also if you stamp with pigment ink not dye ink, the pigment stays wet enough for clear embossing powder to stick to it then heat with heat gun. Such a variety of no mess colors with pigment inks. Perfect Pearls tends to leave behind glitter on the cardstock.

    • @kathleenh188
      @kathleenh188 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's true. I'm just wondering if there is a difference in the look? I'm certainly not criticizing cuz I think this is really a great idea. I guess I'll have to experiment and see what the look is. I've never had coloured embossing powders or used them other than the usual gold, black, etc. I also didn't want to have so many colours that I would hardly use. This gives me a lot more ideas for options!
