Well deserved golden buzzer. Incredible voice
So many people attribute that song to Aretha Franklin they forget that she's not the one who wrote it. It was Carole King just like Bruno said. True Aretha Franklin is the one who made it the most famous I think but Carole King wrote it and I wore out the Tapestry album when I was in college listening to Carole King and this young lady definitely did both of them proud.
I wore out Tapestry by the end of '71. Had yo buy another.

I love carol king and yes she composed and wrote the music but lyrics where by her husband (ex) Gerry Goffin. They where a team she wrote music he wrote lyrics. She peromed it on tapestry after their divorce.

I have worked in Social Service Organizations and in Rural Healthcare all my life... 37 years... maximum number of people in the socal services are all down to earth and never brag about their talents or get hidden due to various reasons. All their live thinking about others, they forget to think about themselves.

There have only been a very few genuinely real talented acts who have legitimately deserved the golden buzzers - Taryn is absolutely 1 of them.....and then some!!!!! She didn't knock this outta the park - she sent in thru the stratosphere into space and beyond!!!!

I'm Canadian, this Taryn girl killed it, she was absolutely amazingly fabulous. Her voice, her gestures, her attitude ... Nothing else is close to Aretha coming back to life in Taryn. It was magical.

As soon as she started singing that first line I said to myself "That's A Golden Buzzer Right There" It takes everything to pull of Aretha Franklin one of the greatest singers to ever live and to sing one of her biggest songs and she absolutely killed it!!! I generally think so far this series has been filled with so much talent where I honestly can see so many acts win this year
Don't forget who wrote & sung it first, Carole King, on her "Tapestry" album.
The student with her mum there to support Taryn and the clear depth of love they have for her, tells me a lot about her. Her voice is beautiful and so is she!

This girl has a world-class voice. There were even points in the song where I think - with her intonation and structure of the notes - she improved on the original. Improving anything that's sung by the Grande Dame Aretha herself makes you a global phenomenon!

What about Carole King, or haven't you heard her sing her own song, the ORIGINAL version. long before Aretha sang it?
If you're going to correct people, at least be correct. The words for this song were written by Gerry Goffin and the music composed by Carole King FOR Aretha Franklin, whose recording of it was released in 1967. Carole King later recorded a version for her 1971 album Tapestry. Legendary work on the part of all parties, but Aretha Franklin's version is not a cover, nor did it follow Carole King's recording. Many artists record songs written and composed by others. If we're going to be pedantic and take your approach, no songs could be attributed to Elvis Presley, as it's well known that he didn't write the tracks he recorded (even those that weren't covers).

Absolutely stunning performance! A lovely soul, who had the courage to face her fears and go after her dreams. Taryn has possibly been procrastinating about stepping into the unknown, for possibly months if not years, because, it makes one incredibly uncomfortable and our central nervous system goes into overdrive. We start sweating, we feel nervous, we start shaking, ......yet once we overcome these fears.... we break through these self-imposed limitations and free ourselves from the shackles that have been holding us back.
The voice in Tarn''s head has been telling her that she is not good enough, whereas the quiet voice within (intuition), is telling Taryn "You can do this! You are good enough! You were created perfect! You are more than who you think you are!"
For anyone reading this message, go after your dreams, if it scares you and excites you at the same time, it is perfectly natural to feel this way. You are experiencing what is referred to as the "terror barrier." On the other side of your fears, there is a magnificent future waiting for you.
