The first tent location is better in my opinion, but the tip about the sound clue is very useful actually it's my first time knowing that, nice video, to bad you didn't go to the middle river way that separates East and West zone, it's pretty good for elk

Coincidentally, I went Elk hunting last night (because it was too late to start recording Wood Grouse mission 10) in a desperate effort to get a trophy bull. I did bag a 355 just south of the lodge, but had absolutely no luck in the two locations you showcase here. :( But then I had been walking for maybe 90 minutes already by the time I got to that lake so it's possible they'd all left the area in that time. I'm definitely gonna try them nearer the start of the hunts though, based on your recommendation. ;) Your tip about the delayed calls from bigger bulls is good to know too! :D
This is really interesting. Elk spawns always used to be on the pond to the left then a couple of years ago they dried up. Looks like the main spawn point has shifted over to the right. Thanks for the vid!
