I feel like this creepypasta is a metaphor for how child abuse victims will often grow up to do the same thing when they are adults and the mental trauma that surrounds it.
If it makes you feel any better, abuse victims tend to not propagate the actions done to them. At least physical abuse, I'm sure it's true for other forms as well. It's a constantly dying phenomena, it will just never die out completely.
Maisie Parton my birth father comes from a long line of physical child abuse. To my knowledge my brother and me are the first to break that cycle. I don't know the psychology around it, but he grew up to be his father. Maybe abuse survivors not growing up to be like their abusers anymore is due to better access to mental health or something.
@@viciousservant5151 Sorry I never saw this, or I would have replied a lot sooner. Obviously it's not a definitive statement, there are a whole lot of factors that come into play with this sort of thing, my dad and his brothers weren't treated very well by their dad to say the least, all of them grew up and to the best of my knowledge didn't do the same to any of their children. It is more of a hopeful thing I think, doesn't apply to everyone sadly, but gives people a bit of hope on a topic that seems insurmountable and never-ending.
This gave me some very vivid dreams. Those that survived the show survived because they were innocent.
