I play bari sax and I noticed that you can't even hear our part yet in my band's version you can hear me and the only other bari quite well. WE NEED MORE REPRESENTATION FOR THE LOWS.
I definitely agree; I play clarinet in concert band and bari sax in jazz band. Also I feel like when you listen to songs that your band has played, you are always able to pick out your part even if it’s really minor or really soft 😂
@@sagepup6782 it's a misconception because it sounds like a triplet l, but it is just a 3 beat measure with an extra eighth note added at the end. it's super confusing. that's why you don't count it 1, 2, 3 la le because it isn't a triplet. you have to count it 1, 2, 1 2 3 1, 2, 1 2 3
heard New Era Fanfare, Imaginarium, Steel, Aggressive, Afterburn, Adrenaline Engines, Armory, Ruckus, Ironheart, Gadget, The Witching Hour, Time machine, Skygazer fanfare, darkheart, Extremis, When spring Rain begins to fall, Armory, And EVEN MORE
That's one hecka good middle school band if I had to compare it to our middle school one. Oh whoops. Was I just throwing shade at our middle school band? Sorry (not rly)
we played this my sophomore year (im now a senior) and it was one of our easier pieces but so fun. id love to hear about your experience with this piece
@@saccharinefreakshow1786 Well, we did this piece so we could have an easier piece that was one temporary, which made it easier for a click track. It was really something though because there were like 100 kids in the band and they all had to be pieced together. Of course. this is not one of the advanced groups either so it was cringey to go through all the ones that were poorly played. Lots of issues with mixing properly too... ("I said use headphones, guys! How is that hard?"). It worked out I guess. I have the link
Played this in band the guy sitting next to me wouldn't shut up about how this song sounded like some anime song xD
This sounds like something from Wii sports

I still have no idea how to count 7/8 and we just got this piece R.I.P.
1 & 2 & (tri-pa-let)
it's not a triplet
there is three full beats then half a beat added

That's one hecka good middle school band if I had to compare it to our middle school one.
Oh whoops. Was I just throwing shade at our middle school band? Sorry (not rly)
It is a hard middle school piece. I played it in high school twice.

0:49 gives me a sort of Super Mario Galaxy kind of vibe. Like the galaxy where he glides across different moons/planets on giant dandelions
Ah yes, gusty garden galaxy :))
i have to learn the snare drum part for this, wish me luck gang!
1:34 I have to play the bells and I'm trying to have my soul not ascend during this part while playing arpeggios lol.
Easy but fun
Mario Galaxy????? Anyone?
Farmington Junior High?
