I am loving my 60’s, even though I am much slower. I love taking my time doing things and being present. I have peace when I read Scripture and just look at creation around us. After so many years of hustling about,I am learning to let go of baggage. It’s nice. I find a lot of joy and peace in your work. I was the one who said I want to live in your paintings 🖼️💚💜💙
That's awesome! I think it is important to take the time to be present. This is something that I am still working on, hence the need to slow down. Being in nature really helps with this.
A book of poetry: how exciting! Your visual artworks are very poetic. I can't wait to see what worlds you can create with the spoken word. One copy already sold here before its written! 😊
I'm not a morning person! I admire people who are! Yes, stretching in the morning for my 80-year old body is very important. I love baking bread but have yet to find the perfect recipe! Your starter looks very promising! I've tried oil sticks; didn't like them at all. You seem to have found the way easily! Have fun in autumn (fall) - I love the seasons changing; not fond of summer; far too hot. I live in Cyprus.
Wow! You are 80. AWESOME. I take care of my mother in law who is 94 years old. I have to be there in her apartment to get her to stretch. Otherwise, she doesn't. Yikes. Are you an artist too?
That's awesome! My goal it to keep it moving as long as possible. I have yet to bake with my starter. Bread will be the first attempt. I'm not sure how I feel about the oil sticks yet. I definitely need more practice. Thanks so much for leaving a comment and watching my video. I really appreciate it.😊💛💛
@@shugalandstudios3360 Good luck with the baking. The only bread making I ever did was with a bread machine. I never got the lovely European crust (like the Polish bread), but when I took out the bread from the bread machine and put some honey on top of it. It was absolutely divine. Hope that you do it soon and that it will be a great success.
Hi Sharon, great to see another video from you. Glad that you are up and about. That's a nice stretch routine. If I am up that early, it's because I can't sleep and so I will study a spiritual book for a bit or I have to be up to go somewhere. I wish I could slow down even more than I do now, but I can't during the week. On the weekends, it's all about slow movements. I wish I had the free mindset of a child, how I looked at the day when I was a child. Time was slower back then, back in Poland. Beautiful paintings. Wishing you best in baking, cooking, sewing. Hope you will make some videos of these. Have a good week.
Thanks so much for watching! Slowing down can take on many forms. Allowing an extra 5 to10 mins in my daily routine is very helpful. I'm looking forward to this season of slowness. I will continue to make videos when I have something to share.
@@shugalandstudios3360 Awesome. Thank you. I am trying to get back into the spontaneous kind of living I did when I was a child. No regrets. No guilt. No rushing. Just going with the flow.
PS a book of poetry sounds great. Go for it!

@@malgozata1875 Yes, I am. Or trying to be one! I'm a young 80 BTW! In my head I'm 25! 😊
