Synopsis:
Cheng Shao Shang is a young girl who was forced to grow up alone after most of her family had to leave to fight in a bloody war. Thus she becomes stubborn and untrusting. She fends for herself in a town populated by people like her, who have been left behind by the war.
One day, a talented and powerfu general named Ling Bu Yi comes to the town - and falls in love with her at first sight. He resolves to marry her, even though it will cause him no end of problems if he decides to pursue this union. She also warns him that she doesn’t trust him, and that her stubborn personality might not be suitable for the wife of a general. But Ling Bu Yi also has deep secrets, and there are facts about his true identity that even he does not know. Slowly, they begin to trust one another a little more - and start to investigate the truth about Ling Bu Yi’s early childhood, family, and real identity…

At least he told her how he felt. None of this dragging out feelings garbage what usually happens in a drama
It took me three times watching this before I realized what he was implying by those three knocks on the wood as he was blackmailing her - he KNEW she was going to sabotage the bridge to get back at the princesses later on. And he was more than happy to watch her do it. Minx, both of them!
Her screaming was real I watched the BTS she really thought the horse went crazy, she was crying and everything. The director came over to congratulate her on a great scene heard her saying “I thought I was going to die…” and they all burst out laughing 😂

I love seeing romantically paired characters feed off each other, encourag, challenge, and even bicker all while enjoying themselves. They are alike, which will make for an eternal pairing after all the twists and turns their relationship will go through. Very strong characters and actors. I don't know the original writer or screenwriters but another WOW!

What to say! Whatever I can say about the "Love like the Galaxy" Series, this Epic, Masterpiece Series and about this amazing Couple with awesome and unique Chemistry between them, will be very little! Believe me! Wu Lei and Zhao Lu Xi are a perfect match! The looks of passion between them give and take, even if unintentionally! Their bodies testify to what they themselves "see" or pretend not to see, whether they want to admit it or not, out of selfishness, out of insecurity, out of fear of commitment, I honestly don't know! However, one thing is the truth, whether some people like it or not, even the "protagonists" themselves! Together they are the most fitting, wonderful and beautiful thing the human eye has ever seen! What to say! What else can I say to "wake" them up from their slumber! Sorry!!!💚💜

They do not take into consideration the emotions of others. People are ruthless. I fear for her because she is good at heart. And people mistreat good people the most.

I've only seen this scene but if he did this to me. Confessed and then told me he needed something I would think he was lying and shady. Just my take.
Taken out of context, that would make sense but he’s actually not confessing, rather he’s repeating something she said about him earlier. And he asks her to get the map b/c if she gives it to him instead of him confiscating it, her uncle will avoid being implicated. I’m only responding because it’s actually great show and he’s not lying or being shady.
