From what I see he can be part of the 3-and-D ceiling with other players (i.e. Avery Bradley, KCP, Trevor Ariza, Josh Richardson, Joe Ingles, Otto Porter, Tony Snell, etc.), he just needs to work on his shooting. Other than that, he is an excellent defensive player.
