Rather than focusing on a particular day or a particular event, you can try and combine the moments ( from multiple days like what you were up to in the days leading between the two vlogs). It will make the audience feel more connected to you and it will not feel random/disoriented. Since people are used to seeing you 24/7 it can help sustain the connectivity with the audience. I can understand it might not be possible most days but if you try doing that it will most likely draw more attention.
