yoon seoyeon's personality is so strong and she's well matured for her age... initially i doubted her for being S01 cause you know JJ is a perfectionist, i expected S01 to be an ace from day 1. but to have her is refreshing, and she proved me wrong.
I think I have a different opinion and approach to "how Jaden choosed her S1". Apparently...choosed Seoyeon as the S1 is probably one of the best choice he can do regarding the hierarchy and member order in the group. It's so good for this group image, because it's giving you new expectation...curiosity about how this new group will developed. And Jaden doing everything perfectly from the start, he showcased Seoyeon through Signal every single day, and really emphasized on the pureness of un-trained person, a very normal student who never dreamed of being an idol even once, note that Seoyeon was never intended to chased the entertainment industry whatsoever, she was in the preparation for her CSAT, and this story is super fresh in K-pop scene, so interesting that it makes lots of people think "wow what is this" "this is new...someone who un-trained joined a future girlgroup, what will happen", something like this I remembered the excitement over curiosity of "what is this tripleS group is all about", this is very very good and smart marketing too actually. And in earlier signal days, there was a series of episodes where the new fans could see how Seoyeon spent her days improving herself, preparing herself for something big...facing the fate that she's the S1, finally met her first teammate the S2 who suddenly came and apparently Hyerin who is a much younger sister, but she was 4 year in-training before join tripleS, she also an ace in dance, and that was so contrast between Seoyeon and Hyerin profle...the development of "the story" like this was so interesting back then. So, after all this time and thinking back to day 1, I think I kinda understand what Jaden trying to do with choosed Seoyeon as his S1, she's the perfect person for this eternal story of the group. And I will never bored hearing the side of her story about "how un-trained she was...the story about how Jaden meet her, the story about how Seoyeon made up her mind to accept new path of her life, pursuing idol job something she never ever think of, the story about Seoyeon high school friends who often saying she should become an actress in the future, the story about Seoyeon who revealed in signal just 2 weeks after Jaden announced her as an S1 and she immediately moved in to the HAUS", man all of these stories about S1 is freakin fresh and interesting, I mean...If the S1 was someone who excels at everything, like an ace or something, not to say they're not deserved to be S1, but I rather called it "a mainstream story", I mean...in Korea, there're lots of trainees who train years and years, with all of the skills and everything...waiting to be debuted, I mean, it's not something new, so again, I kinda understand what Jaden thought on this.

SeoYeon was an oddity in the current idol world, someone who was seemingly plucked out of obscurity and suddenly thrust into the spotlight with hardly any preparation (the only other parallel i could think of could be Loona's Hyeju, who was said to have only trained a day (?)). Its a great story, and is one that unfolded before our eyes with every Signal episode. It is extremely fascinating to watch her grow. To paraphrase something that was said during the tripleS awards (where S1 was recognized as the Most Improved Member), that tripleS grows and improves with SeoYeon, and thus she is the barometer for the extent of the group's development.

In a way that I see it is that we are like Seoyeon too, she's basically represent us, no knowledge on what it entails on us/for her other than there will eventually be 24 members and that Loona kinda did the same thing other than that we really knew nothing. Not even any concept or song. People who have been there since Day 1 (like me) really resonates with Seoyeon in a personal level because we practically feel what she feels in the given moment. Don't get me wrong all members are unique and special in their own way but Seoyeon is little bit extra special. That being said Congratz!! tripleS for 2 ROTYS. Very well deserved.
I love these girls so much, they are the unofficial leaders but they take on the leadership role with full rigor. I remember during the LOVElution tour Seoyeon talked about the first year of tripleS and how she always felt like she was just running and running and running. I am glad she has slow moments, I am glad Yooyeon and Seoyeon have each other.
I missed those days, tho haha. HAUS 1...purple room, the early days of signals was so so calm, like I watched anime with "slice of life"-genre, it was so simple yet memorable. The "Kitchen" also came to mind when talking about HAUS 1. Seoyeon-Yooyeon even got Mom-Dad nickname from HAUS 1 members. It's kinda difficult to see both of them in a content together as they no longer live in the same HAUS, so this video is so wholesome
If you notice, Yooyeon is like "Yin" and Seoyeon is like "Yang". They are two polar opposites in terms of personality, but when they come together they help to balance the constant flow of the tripleS towards the conquest of a new goal. S1 and S5 both form a dynamic balance, because of the maturity they have. Not for nothing, they are the mothers of the group, admired and respected by all. II'm glad you have each other to lean on and be the cornerstone for all.
i love this kind of serious talk between the members. WAVs can see difference side of the members and get to know them deeper. The incorporation of the song in this video also helps promote the song and group as well. I hope modhaus do more this kind of video in the future with other members.

Wow... that was unexpectedly intense.. I find it so utterly fascinating hearing the candid thoughts of these two whom I consider to be the unofficial leaders of tripleS.. You have the eldest sister (S5), and the one who started it all (S1). I think these two are also among the most insightful of the group, YooYeon because of her maturity and experience, and SeoYeon due to her unique perspective of idol life since she wasn't exposed to the trainee system prior to becoming the flagbearer of the team. I had always said to myself that I would avoid getting heavily invested in another Kpop group, but the dynamics and trajectory of this team is just too interesting to avoid following. Wishing these girls all the best, and hoping for a lot more good music to come our way!
and both of them actually very competitive ones...of course Seoyeon was un-trained as an idol, and have so much less experience, so in that area Seoyeon tends to be very down to earth. But in other areas, both are typically the ones who always trying to do their best. And interestingly, both of them have similar character too, both are very studious too, and in a game for example...both probably among the most ambitious person to win the game they played out of everyone in the group. Like for example, in tripleS variety show Badge War, this show actually really showed how competitive Seoyeon and Yooeyon are...to the point where I think the only members who could get into a heated argument are these two out of all members, did you saw Seoyeon vs Yooyeon on the eps 2 of Badge War where they arguing each other about the game? LOL that was so funny, when I saw that, things that going in my mind was "wow they're must be that close each other that they can arguing like that for a game", because new fans may misunderstood but because both of them are very close, both of them have leadership feagure, and both of them are unnie-line so they chill about arguing each other, and this content above is once again, showing that they're really close to each other.

The leader & the deputy leader They both are the pillars of the group in many ways but one. Both are the least experienced members but they persevere i can only imagine the pressure and stress they recieve when they are with their well rounded members . But they both improved their skills and its safe to say that they have achieved it . I can't wait for the future . I can feel it that they are the hidden aces of the group , the diamonds in the rough. Because imagine being the leaders of a group that is one of the 5th gen leaders .

어쩌면 많은 S들 가운데 가장 기본부터 시작한 서연이와 유연이라서 힘들고 막막한 순간도 있었겠지만, 언제나 그랬듯 책임감을 가지고 성장하는 모습만 보여주는게 정말 말로 표현할 수 없을 정도로 웨이브 입장에서는 행복한 것 같아!

Wow... that was unexpectedly intense.. I find it so utterly fascinating hearing the candid thoughts of these two whom I consider to be the unofficial leaders of tripleS.. You have the eldest sister (S5), and the one who started it all (S1). I think these two are also among the most insightful of the group, YooYeon because of her maturity and experience, and SeoYeon due to her unique perspective of idol life since she wasn't exposed to the trainee system prior to becoming the flagbearer of the team.
I had always said to myself that I would avoid getting heavily invested in another Kpop group, but the dynamics and trajectory of this team is just too interesting to avoid following.
Wishing these girls all the best, and hoping for a lot more good music to come our way!
and both of them actually very competitive ones...of course Seoyeon was un-trained as an idol, and have so much less experience, so in that area Seoyeon tends to be very down to earth. But in other areas, both are typically the ones who always trying to do their best. And interestingly, both of them have similar character too, both are very studious too, and in a game for example...both probably among the most ambitious person to win the game they played out of everyone in the group. Like for example, in tripleS variety show Badge War, this show actually really showed how competitive Seoyeon and Yooeyon are...to the point where I think the only members who could get into a heated argument are these two out of all members, did you saw Seoyeon vs Yooyeon on the eps 2 of Badge War where they arguing each other about the game? LOL that was so funny, when I saw that, things that going in my mind was "wow they're must be that close each other that they can arguing like that for a game", because new fans may misunderstood but because both of them are very close, both of them have leadership feagure, and both of them are unnie-line so they chill about arguing each other, and this content above is once again, showing that they're really close to each other.
