Culture and Gentrification in Hackney Wick 2023

'Culture and Gentrification’ relates to the current changes in Hackney Wick, London, as it is currently going through a potential cultural shift, where artists have moved out of their warehouses due to demolishment plans, higher rent rates or new build developments for students, families and middle-class workers. There are still many artists still living here so I took the opportunity to capture their stories, their thoughts and feelings on the area’s changes, as well as in general, in addition to how artists feel about the new people/students moving into this neighbourhood.
