Hello - very informative video! Do you think the CERA credential by itself (without the ASA/FSA) is a good one for actuaries focused on ERM?
@@MohammedAli-tg3rk CERA is considered an associate level, equivalent to ASA but focus in ERM. It is a good one if you want to go into Risk Management but there will be positions require fellowship levels. If you pursue the FSA track for Corporate Finance and ERM, you would get the CERA as well.

Trước khi xem video của chị về actuaries, em có ý định theo đuổi CFA charter. Sau khi xem video, em cũng cảm thấy mình sẽ hợp với công việc acturies liên quan đến phân tích và toán học. Em đang định thi CFA xong rồi theo đuổi acturies. Em biết chị thi CFA sau khi thi Actuaries. Chị có thể chia sẻ thêm về tiềm năng nghề nghiệp của 2 chứng chỉ đó và nếu em thi CFA trước thì học và thi acturies sau đó có dễ và nhanh hơn không ạ. Em rất mong nhận được ý kiến từ chị. C ko recommend thi CFA trước nếu em muốn pursue actuarial profession tại vì hiring managers sẽ không xem trọng CFA exams so với actuarial exams cho actuarial roles. Thay vì thi CFA exams thì e nên put effort in having 1-2 actuarial exams + get related experiences which is much more useful. I was going to take physics maths and chemistry. It's this good??
Math would be the main subject. You can also look at the admission requirements for actuarial science program as references. Here is the list of institutions that offer actuarial science programs per the SOA www.soa.org/institutions/
