A speed build? Yes. A speed build! I really wanted to build something festive and family oriented for the Christmas season using lots of lovely CC! So here it is! Have a lush weekend, and see you all on Tuesday :)

giving me more Christmas vibes in 30 minutes than my whole town this December
I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to hear a simstuber just say outright “if you don’t like it, piss off!” Hahaha. I get so stressed out watching folks who constantly second guess and judge themselves so harshly all the time. Please continue building what YOU like and doing things the way YOU want to do them. 💚
CC is what makes the sims exciting. I think everyone agrees.

This is so beautiful 😢 I don't play The Sims 4 anymore but I'll watch anything you put out. The start with the children building a snowman was so charming 😊

I usually more a fan of modern houses but this one is perfect, the kitchen look rustic without the grandma vibe. Every detail make sense without lookint too much.

The little campers lights don't snap to walls because they're part of these outdoor floor lights , you can kind of make a fence from them it's not bad when you use it that way but wall would make more sense and we'd get more use out of them 😩

Hi Aiden, LOVE this build. I want to use it in my game this Christmas season. The string lights that you are wondering about come with an outdoor lamp that sits on the ground with the same kit pack, these little string lights snap between those lamps. I used them only once though.
I need the Sims 5 (or "pRoJeCt rEnE") aesthetic to be like Sims 4 CC. Just that. Just do that. Easy. We're SO vocal about what we want, it should be piss-easy for them.

As a Mom, I adore the playroom off the kitchen. We had this when my son was small. We had a small sunroom off of the kitchen/family room, which was perfect for building Thomas the Tank Engine train sets, and for his toy kitchen, which my father made for me when I was a child (he was a cabinet maker by trade). This space was just out of the way enough that we didn't have to trip over all of his toys, but I could keep my eye on him. Absolutely perfect.
This build is lovely. I appreciate how you credit the talented cc creators as you go. They do amazing work, and I agree, it is so much more realistic and less garish and chunky. Props to you and them. Enjoy you trip!

I agree the little campers lights a bizarre. They are designed to link with a lamp that is at about ankle height to light a footpath or garden box. I feel like with some tweaking they could have done that and been a better object overall.
The fairy lights from the little campers kit snap to a garden object which is a ground hook with a jar of lights attached. It's called the jar of fireflies I think

This is so beautiful. You are by far the most talented builder. I am binging your lets build the world series. My daughter and I love your sass and are now constantly quoting you. I am currently at your Brindleton lets build and I love the Cornish style. You are a huge inspiration for me and my daughter (plus I downloaded a couple of your builds for her)
The Little Campers fairy lights are made specifically to use with the small firefly outdoor lanterns that came with that kit to make a fence. I would guess that's why they don't snap to a wall, and that's 100% why they are at the height they are at by default. Yeah, it's a bit annoying.

The little campers “String Lights for Ants” are meant to be used with the “Jar Full of Fireflies” post. There’s a hook on the back of the post that lines up perfectly with the lights on the grid.
I imagine they’re meant to be a lighted barrier or border around the kids area or along a pathway.
