I am still, and definitely was when we filmed this, on a destroyed back ankle/foot from street skating. I don't remember how much it was affecting me at the time and perhaps I skate that way regardless...but I feel like I can see how stiff and limited my range of motion is/was.....
@ Thanks Adam for the clarification, intersting technique though, I Even tried it on my surfskate today. Regardless your balance, weight Distribution and the flow in the Video were top notch, nice to watch
You got a lot of speed. Looks like you’re on the surf skate love maybe 78 diameter wheels like I have. They probably got some really good bearings. You’re never losing speed or everything you’re skating has a little bit of an incline perhaps
Can you help me with a few suggestions for surfskates you recommend that are good for carving and cruising for a beginner. I'm not really interested in using this for surf training, just learning surfskating. Im 5 foot 7, a female, and live in Australia. Thanks in advance. I have done a bit of a search through your videos, and they seem a bit old, possibly. I got a hamboard burst, and it's useless, I hate it, the Allen head has even rounded out, and I've barely touched the thing. Very unhappy and don't want to make another mistake wasting money.
Interesting techniques, Specialy staying on his toes and lifting the heels something I personaly never saw before

@@niosea Thank you so much! I always find it tough to watch myself on video, but it sure does feel good when you're actually on the board!
